I have used it for soups, pastas with sauce, and salad with dressing. This container has never leaked, even with liquids. The container cleans up easily in the dishwasher with no staining. I love how these are splatter resistant when microwaving as well, making cleanup even easier. It's great that these can go in the freezer making everything so convenient. I will definitely be buying more of these!

It holds two half bags of cereal or three 2/3 bags of cereal! Lol! It has kept it fresh for 2 weeks!! I am going to order an second. The way we go through cereal this will save some money on keeping it from going stale.

It is amazing how leak proof the container is with any soup, stew, sauce or even water when we are travelling with our dog. Dishwasher safe is a huge benefit for me as well, as a busy, working mom, I really dread doing any dishes by hand. The fact that it doesn't stain or get worn looking from the dishwasher makes it less embarassing when you are taking it out in public. I think my favourite feature is the vents to prevent splatters while microwaving, but still allowing steam to escape. I will absolutely recommend this to anyone, kids, moms, working men. Everyone needs a couple of these containers kicking around. I have used mine for coconut currey soup, left over Chef Boy-R-Dee and water when taking my dogs for walks. I have found no real downside to this product, except I find it a little high pricewise. I will just slowly build my collection over time.

The Rubbermaid Brilliance food storage containers do just that with the leak proof seal and tight latches holding everything in and avoiding any spills in the lunch bag. I also like the clean look with clear bases and lids. These containers come in convenient sizes. You can easily store a family size meal in the freezer in the large one or take the smaller one to work for your lunch or snack. The only thing I would change about it is that I wish it came in glass.
