(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I first learned of this product when chosen to review it. By the product name and look, I thought it was a glass container. It is actually a thicker plastic than most food containers and a little bit heavier, but not too noticeable. I was happy to see that it is BPA-free, and also is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. I stored chili in my Brilliance container. I put my trust in the seal and held my full container sideways. No leakage. I felt much more confident now and turned the container completely upside down. Nothing happened. It was awesome. You can see how tight the seal is. You could throw the container into a bag and not worry at all how it is sitting and if it will leak. I was a little hesitant to microwave it with the lid on because the seal is so tight, so I loosened the top a little bit, but didn't experience any issues. I did find that the container got quite hot, and that my food didn't heat evenly (one side was super hot, and the other side was lukewarm). After finishing my meal, I soaked the container as I normally would, but I could see right away that all the sauce was getting removed. After a washing, the product looked good as new, with no sauce stain. The only issue I have is the price. However, after usage I can tell this is a quality product, and if after multiple uses it continue to fulfill all of its claims, it is well worth the money.

I bought three Brillance 4.7 cup containers. They were great at first. Now they are all cracked. All were hand washed, never put in dishwasher, and never put in the freezer. I did reheat food in the microwave. The covers didn’t crack, but the bowls are all cracked. Your materials did not hold up. Send me a prepaid label and I’ll be happy to send them to you to look at.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE food storage containers are awesome for myself and my two girls that are away at school for daily use. These are sized very well. They hold standard items, like a can of soup, and stack perfectly. I have some other containers that also have this stacked sizing, and it is surprisingly useful in real use. Think how often you have a container of bowtie pasta already in the pantry, and you are looking for a place to put the two small containers of candies and nuts. Well, they fit perfectly on top of the bowtie pasta. Not the best organization, perhaps, but great when you just need to stick something in there and get on with it. They work this way in the refrigerator too, but because of the limited shelf clearance in there, you won't find as many opportunities as you would in larger spaces. I love the clips on the sides. My other containers have a nice, firm seal, but I would still hesitate to fill one with soup and toss it in my bag lest I arrive at work with a huge mess. The clips help ease my concerns. Putting little vents under the clips so they are available, but can't leak, was smart thinking. I don't think it is a great idea to microwave things in plastic containers in general, though. It is hard on the containers, might very well cause chemicals from the plastic to leach into the food (though not BPA), and, perhaps most importantly, I have no desire to eat hot food out of a plastic container. However, if you are at the office and want to reheat your lasagna in the break room, the vents let you do this without splattering food all over the place. I highly recommend these and have swapped out all others in my cupboards for all sizes of these.

Item looks good but dont hold up. They will soon begin to crack and the lids are hard to wash all the crevis's. Find something more durable the plastic is lucky if they last a year, considering what they cost and how long they last you will probably be better with disposable containers

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love this product ! I think it would be goood for anyone who likes to take their own soups, salads to work or school . I loved the fact that it actually doesn't leak !! Another great feature is the vents which stop spillage and splatters when heating the food in the microwave ! The third thing I like about this container is there wasn't any staining! This product is simple to use and easy to open , which is important for users of all ages . The non-leak proof container will allow users to save money taking their own food pretty much anywhere on the go , without having to worry about spills in their bag/ lunch kit etc . Cost wise it is fairly reasonable to other containers which don't have a seal proof , vented lid . I would recommend this Rubbermaid Brilliance container over any other snap lid food containers .

I liked the Brilliance design originally. The bottoms stack well, and you can fit multiple containers within the largest container as an organizer. More efficient than our older Premier containers However, the lids are the opposite - They really can't be securely stacked on top of each other like all our previous Rubbermaid Premier products. The lids take up more vertical space, as well. So, the bottoms can be stored nice and neat on our shelves, while the lids are messy and unstable. We held on to one of our old large Premier bottoms to help organize the Brilliance lids from falling all over the place.

Wonderful for make a head meals especially for someone that takes lunches with them. Keeps microwave splatter free with the lid venting system. Definitely for people always on the go.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love this Rubbermaid® BRILLIANCE™ Food Storage Container. It is the perfect size for leftovers/meal for another day. I love the way that the cover locks on and doesn't allow spills. The only downfall for the secure cover is that it is a bit hard to get off but I guess it needs to be tight so that it doesn't leak. I would highly recommend this container to others. I plan on purchasing more as these as they will come in very handy when you have lots of leftovers.
