They have a great seal when closed. Be careful and follow the directions for cleaning and use or you could damage these containers.

I bought these recently, a 22 piece set of Brilliance. Not only are they beautiful, they are durable and work excellent, for all your storage needs! I was so impressed with these containers, I bought 2 MORE sets, of the 22 piece set! LOVE THEM! This is where art and function work great together!

We store a lot of soups/chowders and broths as my husband is a chef, so it's so nice to have a storage container that keeps everything in with no leaks and doesn't stain either! We plan to purchase more in the future for our house and my husbands buisiness.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Anyone can use this container it's leak proof and very sturdy . I've used it for almost everything from gravies to cake. I feel like it keeps the food fresher longer because of the tight seal it has . I usually use it for work so I don't have to worry about opening my lunch bag and having a spill in it. The only downfall is you can not fill it with bulky items to the rim or it will not seal. But I like it , it is very used in my house . And it a very good looking container.

I love that they're fully dishwasher safe and the rubber seal dries out easily. My only issue is that I stacked them together before I filled them up and they practically welded themselves together. I had to spend about 5 minutes and use soapy water to get them apart!

I absolutely love the look and use of these containers! I have had no issues with leaking at all. I have frozen food in them, no freezer burn, and put through the dishwasher without any problems. Until now... After only 3 months, I warmed a curry in it (for the 20th time if not more) and now my container is stained. Not impressed by this... I had no issues with tomato/meat sauces or the curries before now. My thin and flimsy dollar store rubbermaid containers don't even stain with that dish...

If you don't have a dish washer like me, I wouldn't recommend as it is difficult to wash! It's BPA free but I am slowly heading toward glass as I like to be able to put it right into the microwave
