I love these storage containers! They don't get hot when I microwave them. The lids make these almost air tight. It's a good variety of sizes and we use them for everything. Very happy with this purchase. I researched glass storage containers for a few weeks before I got these. Have held up nicely for almost a year now. Nothing has cracked and we wash in the dishwasher all the time .

Popped it into my bag and was amazed that it held up! Totally forgot to take a pic but 100%approved! And it went into the dishwasher and came out brilliant! We store a lot of soups/chowders and broths as my husband is a chef, so it's so nice to have a storage container that keeps everything in with no leaks and doesn't stain either! We plan to purchase more in the future for our house and my husbands buisiness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I am in love with this Pantry Starter set by Rubbermaid! It makes my pantry look so fresh and well put together, I can't wait to pick up more of these. It comes with 7 containers of varying sizes and the respective lids. Each lid has a rubber seal and latches to really give these containers an air tight seal. The cereal stays super fresh, so you know that seal is really working. These are easy to clean and they stack perfectly. They are plastic but they dont look cheap or tacky. They are durable and they look really clean and simple, I am in love! I would recommend these to anyone who wants to freshen up the look of their pantry. I especially love being able to tell what's inside at a glance.

We purchased several sets of these and have used them regularly for about a year. Recently we have had 2 of the pieces crack all the way through. The first one we figured was a fluke, the second one, there are internal stress issues or something that happens over time. For the cost and cost to the environment I expect several years worth of use before failures like this.

I take my lunch to work every day and being able to heat my food up in this without it staining or making the container look funky is amazing. I love how these are small but still give you plenty of room to put quite a bit of food in here. 10/10 recommend!
