It is easy to open fully to fill it with cereal and seems to seal tight. The pourer opener is also tighly sealed so I feel my cereal will last a long time without becoming stale. Easy to hold and pour!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have tried so many food storage containers in my lifetime it isn't even funny. I found I liked the clip lid kind (used a different brand) but I did not like that the were not really clear. I decided to give these a try. I really really like these. They are clear and the snap lids are perfect. You can just lift up the clips and leave the lid on to cook in the microwave. Under the clips there are air holes and this is why you can cook with the lid on. This stops splattering in the microwave so I don't have to change containers or put a paper towel over it etc. In fact when we re heated some chicken wings they were re steamed so to speak and came out moist, nicely heated. We tried the spaghetti sauce storage and found no staining. I was hoping to nesting since some folks had said they did nest. Well, not really. You have to nest the containers and keep the lid separately which is not really nesting. BUT, they set nicely on top of the bigger piece (with their lids on) and makes a neat stack and I can just get the size I need so I am ok with that. They clean up easily (have not tried in the dishwasher yet though) and make my food easily viewable in the fridge. I am going to get some additional sizes. Very pleased all around. Not unhappy about the nesting as I thought I would be. With the nesting you have to take all out to get to the smaller middle one etc. which I was doing with the previous kinds and when I got these I realized I was frustrate with having to un nest all the time. Because they stack nicely, they wash great, so far no stains I am really pleased. When you go to take the lid off it is a bit "tight' but there is a lip on their that allows you to pull and release the suction. Not hard at all but really just reassures me there is a good seal to keep the food fresher. So far I still really like these products. Wish they came in a few additional sizes though. I like the easy open (yep you unlock the side clips and push down slightly on the lip to separate. You will hear a "woosh" which means these things seal really really well. The other clip lock types from other brands we have used did not have that. Love the fact we can lift up the clips and put food into the microwave still in the container with the lid on (gotta lift up the clips though so the air holes are exposed). I would say it almost steams the food because of the lids still on and makes stored food moist and fresher. They still wash well, don't stay so far. And as I said they do not "nest" BUT I really don't miss having to undo 4 or 5 containers to get to the little one in the center. Nesting is great for saving space but got really annoying so I would just put them in helter skelter because I did not always want to make time to "re nest" them. So these stack block like on top of each other depending on the sizes and I am fine with that. Really nice food storage containers, just want a few more sizes.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Anyone can use this container it's leak proof and very sturdy . I've used it for almost everything from gravies to cake. I feel like it keeps the food fresher longer because of the tight seal it has . I usually use it for work so I don't have to worry about opening my lunch bag and having a spill in it. The only downfall is you can not fill it with bulky items to the rim or it will not seal. But I like it , it is very used in my house . And it a very good looking container.

I have one for my flour, one for rice and one for my chocolate stash. The added bonus is that they come with little measuring spoon/cup thing! These are just perfect for the pantry. I am obsessed and want to buy more to give my pantry a more cohesive appearance. I would say these are great quality for their price point!

This product guarantees to be 1. Leak-proof 2. BPA- free and crystal-clear 3. Built-in vent 4. Stain and odor resistant 5. Space saving 6. Dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe. I love bringing soup to work and beforeI even filled this container with soup I had to do a mini test. I filled it with water and shook it vigorously. I was amazed by how well sealed this container was. Leak-proof - check! It is BPA-free which is always good and the container is clear so you can see all your food - check! I love the built-in vent underneath the latch. This prevents any splatter while the food gets heated up in the microwave - check! I had brought in pasta many times and you know how tomato sauce stains but this container looks brand new and no lingering pasta smell - check check! As with most containers they all pretty much stack up neatly so check! And last but not least I've used the microwave option but haven't tried out the dishwasher or freezer but I'm sure it wouldn't disappoint so check! I can say I'm honestly impressed with Rubbermaid brilliance container. I think one thing that I don't like about it is how it is plastic instead of glass. I have been using glass containers forever. I would definately purchase this again because it would be great packing lunches for the kids as they're too young for glass containers. It might accidentally slip and break. I would definately recommend it to those who does not mind using plastic because it is a great product.
