I also loved the way I can microwave it while leaving the lid on. This is very handy when using the office microwave that is usually quite dirty. I think it's a great product for carrying back and forth to work, although with its great shape it also stacks well in the fridge at home.

Being clear makes it easy to tell what I am am grabbing. They are well made and have a tight seal when closed. This is the perfect system to keep pests out if that is an issue. I will be purchasing more in the future.

Cons:It sometimes spills It is unique because it hold all liquids that most containers can not hold. Also the container is see through so you can see what is in the container. I would so recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these products for free from Influenster, Rubbermaid for my honest review, having kids I cook a lot so I always use containers for leftovers, really love Rubbermaid, love how I can put soup in it, and put it on my lunch pale and no spills, i do prefer glass then plastic, but will still use it, definitely recommend it.

I purchased 3 pkg of the 1.3 cup containers yesterday and was excited they were clear and easy to see what is inside to store various nuts and seeds I purchase. Today I was preparing to wash them and pulled the plastic off the top lid in each package and all of the adhesive material did not come off with the plastic. I've spent a great deal of time trying to get it off with every natural cleaner I have. It is at least smooth now however the area where the adhesive was is now a dull finish. So since they are 2 to a package, half of the lids have a dull finish in the middle of the lid. I have not yet used them, but look forward to having these rectangles rather than round storage containers, which will take up less space. Since I have not used them, my ratings are based on my years of experience purchasing Rubbermaid products.

I love these storage containers! They don't get hot when I microwave them. The lids make these almost air tight. It's a good variety of sizes and we use them for everything. Very happy with this purchase. I researched glass storage containers for a few weeks before I got these. Have held up nicely for almost a year now. Nothing has cracked and we wash in the dishwasher all the time .

Coffee is important to keep in an airtight container, but many available containers aren’t big enough for bulk coffee. They are BPA free, light, perfectly see through, affordable, attractive and best of all reliable. I've used it in the microwave and the vents are super handy plus I heated up my lasagna and it didn't leave stains like some containers . My second time using it was for fruit salad and no leaks!! I have have the medium sized Rubbermaid Brilliance container but it does come smaller and larger. I would definitely reccomend this product .

While they are great when they are new. The lids start breaking at about one year. This is without any abuse, and top rack dishwasher. I bought myself and my daughter in law large sets. The clips that hold the lid on start breaking about the same time, Some of the lids cracked up bad.
