I'm currently using another brand's lockable glass containers which are great - I don't know if I'd run out to replace my set, but it's good to know there's an alternative available.

The Rubbermaid Brilliance food storage containers do just that with the leak proof seal and tight latches holding everything in and avoiding any spills in the lunch bag. I also like the clean look with clear bases and lids. These containers come in convenient sizes. You can easily store a family size meal in the freezer in the large one or take the smaller one to work for your lunch or snack. The only thing I would change about it is that I wish it came in glass.

I have been trying to find a good container that is leak proof. This container certainly fits the bill. My kids love taking soup, stew, salads ect The containers I have used in the past did not provide a good seal and would mess up the kids backpacks. The Rubbermaid container is amazing! It really is leak proof!!! Not to mention, you can use it in the microwave plus wash it in your dishwasher. So awesome and easy to use. Very family friendly and this mom gives a huge thumbs up!

Like others have reported these are subject to fractures/cracks. (see image attached) I've had them approx 10-14 months. Everything is hand washed and rarely used in microwave. Extremely disappointed because I've invested quite a bit so I could eliminate other storage containers. Bought 2 sets from big box store and several more from local supermarkets. Resisted glass because of weight...too many would be too much for fridge shelves. Time to start over!

Then I use the smaller for leftovers in the fridge. The lids have a great seal and keep the products fresh. I would recommend this set of canisters to others.

The fits tightly, and snaps on to prevent leaking and spillage, even in a lunch bag or backpack. The vented lid allows you to microwave your food with the lid on, preventing splattering your microwave. I was worried that this might cause soggy leftovers, but this was not the case. I would highly recommend Rubbermaid® BRILLIANCE™ Food Storage Containers for anyone who takes a lunch with them to work or school. I usually stick to glass containers, but these are far superior to other plastic containers that I have used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed with the canisters. They are very sturdy and durable. I could actually hear air release when I put the kid on. It deals solid. The tab locks securely. Noodles and cereal stay fresh for a long time. The cups are great for scooping out rice, flour, etc.

I bought 2 sets of the 10 piece Brilliance set and I already have 1 that is cracked completely through and several have “stress fractures” to them and will most likely break. I’ve always loved Rubbermaid products but I am highly disappointed with these.

My boyfriend cooked a bunch of stuff for sliders, but we were watching at a friends house, so we had to transport a bunch of food with us. This container was sturdy and durable and didn’t leak on the journey. One of our other containers did not prevent leaking, so I can say I’m very happy with this one. It seems like it will hold up for a while which is good since I try to limit using plastic products with short lives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this container for storing cut/washed fresh fruits and veggies, or things that I won’t want to heat up later. It’s a really nice solid plastic. The seal on the lid is excellent. When I filled it with water, sealed it, and tipped it over there was no leakage. Because it is all plastic, I prefer not to heat up food in it. But it is great for storing any kind of leftovers. I used it to take a salad to work and it was perfect.
