(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love this product ! I think it would be goood for anyone who likes to take their own soups, salads to work or school . I loved the fact that it actually doesn't leak !! Another great feature is the vents which stop spillage and splatters when heating the food in the microwave ! The third thing I like about this container is there wasn't any staining! This product is simple to use and easy to open , which is important for users of all ages . The non-leak proof container will allow users to save money taking their own food pretty much anywhere on the go , without having to worry about spills in their bag/ lunch kit etc . Cost wise it is fairly reasonable to other containers which don't have a seal proof , vented lid . I would recommend this Rubbermaid Brilliance container over any other snap lid food containers .

My wife and I have been using these for several months to carry lunches to work. We store them in the refrigerator, microwave food in them, and wash them in the dishwasher. The lids are now cracking in the center. We've been using them for a couple of weeks with the cracks but now must throw them away. I expected them to last longer.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I admit I was sceptical when trying the Rubbermaid Brilliance container, I had heard of "leak-proof" containers before but they failed every time. Not this time. I used my container to take soup to work for my lunch and I have to say, even after tossing my lunch bag around a bit and tipping my container, not a drop was spilled! I went to warmup my soup later and the fact that I could leave the lid on and just use the vents to prevent splattering is genius! A++++

These work awesome. They keep a large amount fresh in the fridge but, more importantly, we can carry foods like watermelon or cucumber salad to and from work without worrying about messy, sticky spills in our briefcases or on car seats. My only complaint is I wish they came in an even larger size for when I cut up a water melon. I have to use multiple containers for this purpose now. I've been using these since they launched and they continue to maintain a seal and look great through a lot of runs through our dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using locking containers exclusively for years now and I thought I couldn't be surprised anymore, but I was wrong. These Rubbermaid Brilliance containers are just as wonderful as any I've come to expect from the Rubbermaid brand, yet there's a new feature I haven't encountered before. The design now incorporates a built-in steam vent underneath the latch which means I can microwave in them without removing the lid. In the past I've always removed the lid, then added a splatter screen or topper to keep the microwave cleaner inside while cooking or reheating. This steam vent is such an improvement and a really thoughtful design addition. I love the clean lines and the various sizes of this set, as well as how crystal-clear they are. Makes it so easy to see the contents, even from above. Highly recommended.

Anyone who knows me, knows I love to cook. I take pride in my kitchen and the gadgets and tools I use. That being said, I have used many different brands, shapes and styles of food storage containers. No matter how many times I stray, I always come right back to Rubbermaid. When I happened upon this set, I was more than excited to try them. They arrived in brand packaging that just screamed quality. The packaging is pretty and surely makes a great presentation for gift giving. I love these containers!! This six piece set features three BPA-free CRYSTAL CLEAR containers and three BPA-free Tritan lids. These Rubbermaid Brilliance containers offer EXCELLENT VISIBILITY of their contents. This is a useful feature as I can look in my fridge and know exactly what I am taking out without having to open several containers. I chopped too much onion and decided to store the leftover in one of the smaller containers. I was super IMPRESSED that there was no onion odor in my refrigerator and even more impressed that there was no odor in the container once I washed it. Some containers I have used in the past held on to odors and I had to toss them. A pet peeve of mine...stained containers!! I hate stained containers. I just find it unsightly as they never look clean; so imagine how THRILLED I am that these containers RESIST not only odors but stains as well!! Another pet peeve of mine is containers that leak. I use containers with covers to keep the contents in and I rely on my containers to do that. These Rubbermaid food storage containers are 100% Leak-proof and guess what...THEY WORK! I'm really SATISFIED with these containers. I'm a neat freak and like my kitchen organized. I love how these containers stack allowing me to save space and keep things tidy! As if these containers couldn't get any better...these Rubbermaid Brilliance containers are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. The lids have air vents under the latches for when you are microwaving. These vents keep your food from exploding and splattering everywhere! All in all, I find these containers PERFECT for me and and my needs, they are durable, crystal clear, air tight and BPA-free! If you are still wondering if I would recommend these Rubbermaid Brilliance containers, not only do I HIGHLY recommend them but I plan to buy a set for my best friend!
