We found this swing set for 13 years now bought it directly from Lifetime online we have been extremely satisfied with this product it is basically flawless we live in San Antonio Texas Miss wings this swingset has moved three times and we used all of the same hardware to reassemble it all three times. We will soon be making purchases to replace just the swings, the chalkboard, binoculars and the climbing rope so it'll be like new again. As we are now grandparents I intend to buy Lifetime swing sets when all of my children become homeowners so that my grandkids will grow up enjoying Lifetime swing sets in their childhood as well. The best purchase I've ever made, no regrets!

the set itself is of good quality, nothing special. the plastic holds its color without fading. the rock wall portion is cheaply molded, and has lots of cracks in it. the rubber on the swings themselves, particularly the part covering the chain deteriorates and sticks to hands and clothes..and i'm not talking a little bit. it is impossible to wash off, and is only comparable to letting children play with rubber cement glue, that doesn't ever fully dry and is harder to wash off. my kids haven't touched the swings themselves for over two years, because "they are gross". i have to spend $100 to replace the three swings with a different brand...because i don't want replacements.

The playset is amazing! It takes some time to assemble it, but the directions are thorough and the nuts/bolts/etc are on sealed cardboard labeled extremely well! There are two aspects I think could use improvement.....the slide at the monkey bars could use two-sided handles to help the kids pull themselves up the top steps to the slide; and the other is when a child climbs up the “rock wall” from the outside, it’s a big gap to reach across to the platform. Although I’d like to see these two items addressed, neither are reasons to not get this playset!! It’s fabulous and so sturdy!! We have 7 grandchildren ages 9 to 2.....they love it!

We have had the playset up for about a week and my children love it! The quality seems excellent, it arrived quickly, came very well packaged, and while it took my spouse and my father about 7 hours to put together they said the instructions were very clear but you need at least two people for the job. We are very please with our purchase and would highly recommend lifetime playsets!

"Lifetime" is a good name for this product line, because that is about how much time you will need to assemble it. Boxes are stamped "Made in China", and the instructions might as well be printed in Chinese as well. Make sure to buy order a crystal ball and hire a structural engineer to help you assemble it. You will need to infer many things on your own when you start to decipher the ream of paper that are the instructions. I am 49 years old, consider myself VERY mechanically inclined, and it took me and another experienced person over 12 hours to assemble this unit. I have put together dozens upon dozens of items together as a homeowner, and thought i'd seen it all....until now. I knew we were in trouble when we opened the boxes to find a tap for re-tapping threads included with the hardware, like it was just a normal part of the process. A tap ? Really ? C'mon....WHO DOES THAT ?? Just send out the problem, and the tools to fix it to the customer ? Seriously ? Extra hardware is also in many of the bags....just enough to make you wonder if you forgot something. Fortunately, we counted everything out BEFORE assembling each section, and immediately seen their were extra washers, nuts, plastic plugs, etc. Apparently, someone at the factory just isn't interested in doing their job to count the hardware accurately. Unit is very sturdy after assembled, and for that, i'm giving it two stars. A few of the bolt holes didn't line up on the roof, and climbing wall, but we were able to "muscle" them together and drive screws in at angles. Again though....the most horrific instructions i've ever seen. It would have been better if I had none at all.

We have owned this product for three years, and it has held up great! The younger kids love it, and it is sturdy enough for my older kids to still enjoy it too. It is SO nice not to have to worry about sanding and re-staining a wooden playset. The only issue we had was with assembly - it was a beast to put together! After struggling to put the climbing net on for hours, we finally figured out that our box included the wrong net. It was 12 inches too small! That was really frustrating, and I had to go pick up a new one. Once we had the right one, it went right on though.

This swing set is awesome...we live in the desert and I didn't want a wood set that had to be maintained. This is so nice!!! The kids love it, as well as adults. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our playset is about 8 years old now and it is still pretty solid. We have a few rust spots on the deck ends and the climbing wall support pole, but that can be sanded and repainted. The steering wheel and cargo net are now gone, but I have ordered new ones. Everything else is in great condition. The swings have survived, no cracking or chain problems. About assembly... Definitely a two person job. If you have an allen head for your drill or driver then assembly will fly. If not, then good luck and plan on taking your time. The instructions are pretty straight forward and easy to read.

It's very high quality and our kids are having a blast with it! We know we'll enjoy it for years to come!

I bought this top of the line Lifetime swing set approximately 5 years ago. And even though I do believe it a superior product, within approx 3 years it started to rust and the plastic on the roof begin to crack. It was also severely sun bleached within first 2 years. I live in California. We don’t have a lot of rain or extreme weather conditions. I love the swing set and my kids love it, I just wish it would have lasted longer. I’m thinking of replacing it entirely with a brand new lifetime and put it under a awning.
