This is a good cut if you cook it in a slow cooker, instant pot, or on the stove in a stew on low for several hours. We sliced a few steaks off one end and grilled, but they weren't very tender. Currently, it's a much better value than ground beef!

I buy it in bulk and cut the fat off around the edges and use it to make beef jerky.

Something has changed about their meat in general. I used to buy chicken breast, then lately found weird texture, and the taste is not good next day. Now, the beef is also not as good as it used to be.
