I buy one and put it in a Dutch oven on a rack and add a broth of French onion soup, Lipton dry beefy onion mix, beef broth, garlic, some instant coffee, and bouillon cubes, and bake it at 350 for a couple of hours. The meat is infused with broth, making excellent gravy with mashed potatoes.

Great if you don't want to cut your own meat from the main roast, but it's more expensive than buying the whole roast.

This eye of round was so tough we could hardly eat it. I’ve bought lots in the past that are usually very good but this one was like leather.

Roast looks very fresh, good pricing but, not tender. It came out tough no matter how I tried to tenderize.

Great tasting roast but could stand more trimming. I weighed the fat glob I cut off the bottom and it weighed 6.7 ozs. I’m assuming I paid for that too? ☹️
