I've seen a lot of negative reviews based on shipping. I did not have any issues. Packaging and TV were intact. I love the picture. No more contrast issues when watching shows that are dark. When watching sports, the colors are vibrant, no lag and the players look like they are right in front of you. I don't game, so this TV suits my needs. I purchased the vizio sound bar that attaches to the TV. I have seen other reviews about not having a remote independent to the sound bar. If you don't have a compatible vizio tv, I can see how this might be an issue but my sound bar is operated via the tv remote! YAY one less remote. The sound quality is great! My only issue was set up. You have to have the vizio app (which I already had because of my previous vizio). Because my other TV was already in the app it took a while and some frustration to get the app to recognize the new TV. I recommend going into the app and deleting devices you are replacing before set up! I am very happy with my purchase! I can see the picture from any angle! Would recommend this TV

All software updates were complete. Installed some apps and they would not launch. After many hard reboots and the software update showing 100% over and over again I stopped trying that day. The next morning there was another software up date that actually had some size. All apps now work.

This replaces our approximately 20 year old 40” Sony Bravia tv so there is quite a difference . First of all it weighs about 80% less and has about 90% more screen surface area. Being a smart tv is a real upgrade and our Sony Surround Sound/DVD system linked effortlessly with an HDMI cable. The viewing angle works fine and I’m sure I’ll be discovering more features all of time.

Nice TV ,but very flawed

Only had it for a month and the mother board had to be replaced, luckily it was still under warranty. None of the apps would open and wouldnt connect to the internet. After being fixed Im still running into issues with apps not working. I definitely wouldnt buy this tv again. great sound and great picture quality

This TV has been littered with bugs since day one. I stupidly got rid of the packaging so I can’t return it. It’s constantly freezing, certainly apps like Netflix will randomly not load, and the hdmi outlet for the soundbar is inoperative. Idk if I got a lemon or this model is bad. We’ve had other Vizio tvs and loved them.

It was super easy to get set up and this comes from a Senior that usually has a lot of technically challenged moments. LOL I'm happy I chose the Vizio TV and the 65" that will eventually be wall mounted over our fireplace. All in all still super happy after almost two weeks of watching it.

The TV did not include a power cable, which made it impossible to turn on or test out of the box. There was no cord attached to the TV and none included in the packaging. This should be a basic requirement — a customer should not have to go find or buy an additional power cord just to power on a brand-new TV. Because of this, I couldn’t even verify whether the TV works. Very frustrating experience, and not acceptable for a new product

ADS everywhere. Everytime you start it BOOM full header of ads. Leave it sitting idle? Couple screensavers then BOOM ADS. Also the autodim is too slow for some games such as Forza. Constant flickering as it tries to adjust for the lighting in game. Did I mention ads? The first line of content when you start the TV is all their "free" channels riddled with ads. Your recent app selections all go to a single bubble instead of just appearing first in the line off apps.
