The bag stated other types of veggies are included. Truthfully it primarily included one less nutritionally sound version with possible small slivers of the other types of veggies. If you want better quality it would probably be better getting the higher priced bags that actually include the better variety of lettuce.

Taylor farms garden salad i find to be a great salad mix much larger quantity than you will find from your grocery store at a much cheaper price. Highly recommend salad is expensive now a days this brand and quantity make it very reasonably price to eat healthy again.

I tried the 2lbs shredded lettuce package for a couple of weeks but between my wife and I we simply could not finish all 2 lbs before it started to spoil. The 2lbs Garden Salad is better in that it lasts a few days longer but it doesn't go in my low-carb burritos as well. It is a good product and for a restaurant or food service group it would be great. It is just too much for two people on diets. We have gone back to 1lb bags from Walmart. Same quality but easier to manage for the two of us.

This mix seems to outlast the “Best by” date. Makes a nice, fast salad with the Sam’s avocados, dressing and small tomatoes. Sprinkle in a few croutons and bacon bits or to make it a complete meal microwave a few of Sam’s chicken tenders, toss them in and you have a feast!

Hit and miss on this. Check the date. Often it is about to expire. It is not going to be good a day after the expire date. Once it is open, tick tock. It's a good value but be prepared to eat it soon..very soon and try to buy a bag that hasn't been beat up or the lettuce goes bad even faster.

I eat a salad every day and this is a nice sized bag that gets me through most of the week. The price is great. There are some issues with it about every other time I buy it. Sometimes there are almost no carrots or red cabbage. There can be huge dense chunks of chopped lettuce the size of a large sized egg that need to be pulled apart. The freshness and shelf life is very inconsistent. Even though it may say it’s fresh for over a week, I generally have to pick through it ugly stuff by day 4 or so after opening it. Sometimes it is watery or rusty before you even purchase it, so you have to dig through the boxes to find what looks to be a good bag.

It’s a good deal except within two days my giant bag of salad was reduced to a rusty puddle of mush. I believe the refrigerated produce room at Sam’s is kept too cold. My spinach, broccoli, lettuce and cabbage mix all rot within two days. I will now purchase at the food store and pay more as these are rendered useless way before their expiration date.

Bought 4 bags for a group event. The date on the bags was 3 days after the event. I also bought iceberg (which was fine) to add into the mix. When I started to mix them up the night before our event, 3 of the 4 bages were rotten, and seemed like theyd been previously frozen. I had to run out at 10pm to get more lettuce from our local Kroger. VERY Dissatisfied with this, as we've not had a major issue like this in the past.

Salad became wilted and soggy within one day of bringing it home and placing it in the crisper. Bought on the 15th of December with expiration date of December 21st. Contacted Sam's Club but to date received no response. In all fairness, this is the first time I've had any problem with the salad mix.

When you have a large supper, this is an instant tossed salad (well, each will toss their own, to mix the dressing, but the mixture of content is already accomplished; all you have to do is decant it into a large bowl, add tongs, and small plates or bowls for the guests, and enjoy.
