If you don’t eat it all right away it spoils very quickly. I’ve tried various methods to stop the wilting but nothing seems to work. I hope they keep the price low.

My family loves the bagged salads. My daughter takes them to work for lunch. My other kids & husband make them for themselves for dinner. They're great to have on hand for a quick meal or side dish.

It is mostly iceberg lettuce. The rest is red cabbage and carrots. It's a great combination for me. No washing. Just in a bowl, add dressing, toss and eat. I have this everyday. 2lbs and under $3. Can't beat it. Just check the date. Typically it stays great 2-3 days before expiration if kept refrigerated. You can often still eat it a day or two after the date.

Fresh, clean taste. Some brands have an off flavor (from the bag maybe?), but this tastes like fresh lettuce. Mine stayed fresh for a while, whereas some other brands tend to wilt within a day.

After opening, it barely lasts a couple of days. I love the convenience for a salad since it has cabbage and carrots included but doesn’t last like normal spring mix or other salads.

They get wilty so fast. It's often a good value, but typically only good for a couple of days, assuming you don't mind picking out the wilty pieces (which you usually have some immediately).

It use to be better before they put it in the walk in fridge. It goes bad really fast now. Before the expiration date. A lot of the bags look like its frozen and the lettuce is already browning on the edges. So you have to look through all the bags to find a half way good one. Its an excellent price on it as long as you can eat it all by the 2nd day. Im still buying it cause even if i only eat half the bag and have to trash the other half its still cheaper than anywhere else. I wish they would take it out of the walkin fridge like it use to be.

2 of the last 3 times I've ordered salad for curbside pickup have been disappointing. Lots of brown pieces and too much air in the bag … causing bruising. Pickers need to be trained to choose better.

If you have a big family that can eat this in 2 days it's great, but after that it turns orange and soggy. Nothing makes a difference, even if I squeeze all the air out or vacuum packing it. So eat it quickly and it's fine, Same thing goes for their cut up coleslaw.

I examine the package for freshness and date. I had 5 days before it loses freshness. So this was used for a family reunion. I only needed about half the contents. The next day when I wanted a personal salad from this package, I could not find one piece without brown stale edges. I had to throw away the opened package. It was stored in refrigeration and the package was folded closed. Go somewhere else to get fresh lettuce.
