If you don’t eat it all right away it spoils very quickly. I’ve tried various methods to stop the wilting but nothing seems to work. I hope they keep the price low.

Bag has good blend of lettuce, carrots and red cabbage. Ready to go in short notice. The lettuce cut is a medium chop, some larger chunks may be in the mix, which is hubby's fav part of mix. Appears to last a few days after being opened, so one can use a little over several days and not worry the rest of opened bag will wilt out quickly. Squeeze out any excess air from bag and close tightly if using over several days. Air is the enemy once bag opened. Enjoy crispy lettuce and value with this find.

After opening, it barely lasts a couple of days. I love the convenience for a salad since it has cabbage and carrots included but doesn’t last like normal spring mix or other salads.

I like the large size and low price. However, the salad can't make it more than a couple days before turning brown; sometimes it's even brown upon opening the day after purchase. I continue buying it because it's an overall better value (even if I throw a portion of it away) than buying multiple bags at another store.

These bag salads spoil too quickly. I might as well throw half of it away as soon as I open the bag. I get 3-4 bowls of salad and then it's too slimy to stand.

The bigger bag was nice. But it had an overwhelming abundance of cabbage and carrots. It was hard to taste much lettuce because of so much other stuff, more than normal.

I examine the package for freshness and date. I had 5 days before it loses freshness. So this was used for a family reunion. I only needed about half the contents. The next day when I wanted a personal salad from this package, I could not find one piece without brown stale edges. I had to throw away the opened package. It was stored in refrigeration and the package was folded closed. Go somewhere else to get fresh lettuce.

If you have a big family that can eat this in 2 days it's great, but after that it turns orange and soggy. Nothing makes a difference, even if I squeeze all the air out or vacuum packing it. So eat it quickly and it's fine, Same thing goes for their cut up coleslaw.

It use to be better before they put it in the walk in fridge. It goes bad really fast now. Before the expiration date. A lot of the bags look like its frozen and the lettuce is already browning on the edges. So you have to look through all the bags to find a half way good one. Its an excellent price on it as long as you can eat it all by the 2nd day. Im still buying it cause even if i only eat half the bag and have to trash the other half its still cheaper than anywhere else. I wish they would take it out of the walkin fridge like it use to be.
