Wilts so easily

If you don’t eat it all right away it spoils very quickly. I’ve tried various methods to stop the wilting but nothing seems to work. I hope they keep the price low.

Value verses freshness

I like the large size and low price. However, the salad can't make it more than a couple days before turning brown; sometimes it's even brown upon opening the day after purchase. I continue buying it because it's an overall better value (even if I throw a portion of it away) than buying multiple bags at another store.

Feedback

Good price but once you open the bag, be sure to finish it quickly as it starts to go brown almost immediately within a few days. I've had salad that's lasted longer.

Doesn’t last

After opening, it barely lasts a couple of days. I love the convenience for a salad since it has cabbage and carrots included but doesn’t last like normal spring mix or other salads.

Too much cabbage & carrots

The bigger bag was nice. But it had an overwhelming abundance of cabbage and carrots. It was hard to taste much lettuce because of so much other stuff, more than normal.

Choose carefully, taste is average

When we first tried this product, it was fresh, however you really have to watch which bag you choose as some were browning and not looking 'fresh'. Cost wise it is within normal range and very affordable.

Disappointing curbside pickup

2 of the last 3 times I’ve ordered salad for curbside pickup have been disappointing. Lots of brown pieces and too much air in the bag … causing bruising. Pickers need to be trained to choose better.

Zero Stars for Sam’s Club

This review is not just about this particular bag of salad. I’ve purchased this salad several times before, and unfortunately, there have been times when it didn’t even last two days in my refrigerator. However, this time my complaint is mainly directed at Sam’s Club. I placed my order through the Sam’s Club app for home delivery, and my groceries arrived today, August 13. This salad arrived already spoiled, and when I checked the package, the “Best If Used By” date was August 13 — TODAY. How is it acceptable to select a fresh product for a delivery order that is already visibly deteriorated and reaches its “Best If Used By” date the same day it is delivered? And unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. I have received fruits, salads, and other fresh produce in poor condition on multiple occasions. When customers order online, we are trusting Sam’s Club employees to select fresh products with the same care they would use when shopping for themselves. Getting a refund is not the issue. Sam’s has always refunded me when there has been a problem. The issue is that this keeps happening with fresh products, and it shouldn’t. Sam’s Club needs to show more consideration for its customers and improve the quality control when selecting fresh and perishable items for online orders. My rating for Sam’s Club’s handling of fresh products in online orders: ZERO STARS.

Afraid to use it due to the lettuce scare.

Wasn’t the time to use bagged lettuce so I didn’t open it.
