I know it's all iceberg lettuce, but I was disappointed in how many “core” pieces were in the bag. I'm sure it's difficult to remove/keep track of them during processing. I'd suggest mixing this with some leaf lettuce and other vegetables for SURE.

The bigger bag was nice. But it had an overwhelming abundance of cabbage and carrots. It was hard to taste much lettuce because of so much other stuff, more than normal.

Sometimes this salad is incredibly fresh and stays that way for days. Other times the expiration date will still be several days or a week away and bag unopened, but the lettuce inside is already turning brown. We live 5 minutes from the store and take it straight home to the fridge but sometimes it just seems like it must be older than the date would have you think. Too bad because it's a great price for a large bag of salad.

Price is really good for what you get. On a busy night, trying to eat healthy is a chore, so grabbing this bag makes it easy to add in some veggies. If i had to chop all of it myself...well i just would not. The o ly thing is that the shelf life is not great so you need to use it up within a few days of opening.

Our groceries were packed in a box for us for pick up. At the bottom of the box were our 2 bags of salad. They were obviously spoiled when put with our order. (partially liquified.) It wasn’t worth driving back to Sams to return them and we used pick up to avoid going inside in the first place. Just won’t buy this item again.

I am beyond frustrated that the 15 bags of salad I ordered expired the same day I picked them up. The fundraiser I purchased them for was 3 days after my pickup date. I live an hour away and it would cost me more to drive down than it would for a refund. My phone call was never returned by a manager. It sucked to discover the lettuce was out of date at 8pm the night before the event. I would rather spend more at HEB, that’s where I ended up anyways.

It is mostly iceberg lettuce. The rest is red cabbage and carrots. It's a great combination for me. No washing. Just in a bowl, add dressing, toss and eat. I have this everyday. 2lbs and under $3. Can't beat it. Just check the date. Typically it stays great 2-3 days before expiration if kept refrigerated. You can often still eat it a day or two after the date.

Like the coleslaw, sometimes the expiration date isn't far from the date I'm in the store. Good product, though and the price is great!

A huge brag. Great for using as a base in my taco salad. Fresh and lasts a long time. Super price compared to other stores
