The bigger bag was nice. But it had an overwhelming abundance of cabbage and carrots. It was hard to taste much lettuce because of so much other stuff, more than normal.

I know it's all iceberg lettuce, but I was disappointed in how many “core” pieces were in the bag. I'm sure it's difficult to remove/keep track of them during processing. I'd suggest mixing this with some leaf lettuce and other vegetables for SURE.

Fresh, clean taste. Some brands have an off flavor (from the bag maybe?), but this tastes like fresh lettuce. Mine stayed fresh for a while, whereas some other brands tend to wilt within a day.

Like all bagged salads, you have to eat it within a few days. Tip: DON'T leave it in a bad. When you get it home, spread out some paper towels and pour the bag out onto it. Then take another paper towel and dab it dry. Then separate it and put it into smaller storage containers. IT will get you an extra day or two out of it. At these prices, you really only need to eat about half to make it better than other brands 12 ounce packages. But if you have two people eating salads every day, you would be able to get at least 3/4 to the full bag done.

It is mostly iceberg lettuce. The rest is red cabbage and carrots. It's a great combination for me. No washing. Just in a bowl, add dressing, toss and eat. I have this everyday. 2lbs and under $3. Can't beat it. Just check the date. Typically it stays great 2-3 days before expiration if kept refrigerated. You can often still eat it a day or two after the date.

The Garden Salad is a nice mixture of Iceberg Lettuce, cut into bite sizes pieces, along with shredded carrots and red cabbage that adds color and texture. A quick salad on its own or use as a base to any salad mixture. At our house I add shredded radish, cucumber slices and tomatoes. If you don't use the entire bag, make it airtight and it will stay fresh for 2 to 3 days. We use it at our dinner table 3 to 4 nights a week.

this item did NOT' last 5 days! SAD, VERY SAD! WHEN I picked it up, even looked at the rest in stock, there was more' air in the bags. I guess the whole' bunch of lettuce was going bad! yep, days away from turning rotten! I had to throw this lettuce in the garbage! Wasted $money! after having to pick through the lettuce for my first serving-throw the rest away!

I am a repeat purchaser of this salad. I love salads & making bowls or wraps with this salad with my added goodies. I would like the packages to be smaller - maybe 2 1lb. packages together, like the cheeses. Sometimes I cannot finish this amount of saad before going bad.....

Was excited to get my Sam's club membership as it is much more convenient to shop here but two of the items i picked up today curb side were awful. This 2 lb bag of lettuce was slimy and wilted as if it had been sitting out in the sun for the afternoon. Totally sad!!

Delicious salad blend that's crisp and fresh.
