I've ordered it several times assuming I was just having bad luck but every time I order salad mix it's turned within a day or so. Once it was actually bad at pick up already browning and soggy. Unless you're looking to eat it immediately I wouldn't recommend this salad mix. It should be able to be in the fridge for a day or two but it can't in my experience and I've tried three or so times.

Used to be great. Seems since they started putting it in the refrigerated room, it rots faster. I'm suspecting that it gets too cold for it in that room, possible freezing the lettuce. Still, at the current price, if you get one decent salad out of it, it's way cheaper than buying one at a restaurant.

I'm done purchasing this item. In my experience there is a good 60-75% chance that a brand-new bag, opened several days to a week before its "best by" date, will have a significant portion already brown or browning. I don't know if the handling between field and store is inadequate, but something is clearly not right. Sure, it's inexpensive for the amount in the package, but when half or more gets thrown away, it's not a value item.

The one star isn't a reflection of the delivery itself. But in this order I had 2 things to refund. the 88/12 lean beef (brown and smelly) and this bag of lettuce was brown and wilted when I opened it! How is this even remotely acceptable? Sam's, you've got to have to do better. This stuff can make people very sick! Tell the shoppers to shop like they would for their own home %26 to care about the people like they do for themselves. There are plenty enough comments to show you there's a real problem.

The Franklin, TN club must keep their walk in refrigerator area too cold because since when does bags of lettuce need to be in a room so cold you see your breath? It also causes the lettuce to spoil faster. Also, can you please add more lights in there? It's a cave!

A lot of the lettuce I received in this package was brown.

I find this garden salad bag does not stay fresh for very long. I even check expiration dates.

This salad is great if your going to use it all within 48 hours.
