Received the yellow and green kayaks for our 6 year old twins. They love them so much! I love that the kayaks are really meant to sit on the water, but still very stable. the paddles are great, we love the adjusting foot holds and overall very satisfied with this purchase! I can see the kids spending many many years using these kayaks!

So excited to have finally got an alert that the green was in stock! Ordered it immediately before it sold out again. Much cheaper here (and comes with paddles!!!) than other sport stores. And shipping is FREE! Kayak was bigger than I thought it would be, but my son had no problem navigating it in a calm lake. He absolutely loves it. He is 6 years old, approx 50 lbs. Will last him a few years I believe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these youth kayaks last summer and am SO glad I did! We have taken the kids out to the lake and they can't stop having fun on these awesome things! My 5,8, 10 & 12 year old kids enjoy them all day and don't want to come in. Cousins too. These are so easy to maneuver that my 5 year old does great! Best purchase ever! I'm sure we'll still be using these when we have grandkids. Lifetime products are awesome!

My 8 year old daughter and 9 year old son love these! The kids use them on a very large lake on clam days and they are so stable the kids can stand on them and use them like "paddle boards". Seat back that comes with yellow is pretty flimsy and will probably only last one season, but its better than nothing.

My 10 year old was easily able to navigate on his own. It sits low in the water, which makes it less subject to wind . He uses it in a river cove. It has 2 deep V's in the underside which make it track well and quite stable. Easy to scramble up the back if you fall out. We practiced in the swimming pool first. Plastic is heavy duty- looks like it will hold up well. Saw this at a warehouse store for same price but no backrest. Might order another. Best thing since pool noodles.

I had this 'kids kayak' for years and my grandchildren loved it --- hours of great fun. Everyone wanted a time to kayak on the what we called the 'water wheelbarrow'. Recommend it to anyone. Purchased this one because the other floated away - hope someone is still using it!

Awesome kayak. Got this for our four year old grandson. He can maneuver it easily in the pool and creek. He is excited to kayak in his own kayak. He had been using his older cousins kayak. Smooth sides is great. Looks like this will be used daily on our 177 acre spread.

I have a 6 year old and a 9 year old and they fight over it. They love it. It’s light enough to easily carry around, but Sturdy enough for them to ride on as well. I also use it sometimes and I’m 5’7. My legs fit perfectly. (Not an inch longer, but perfectly).

My son has taken this out 2 times so far (river and a pond) and it is very stable and easy for him to maneuver. We upgraded the seat with one from Academy since he is smaller. Great purchase for the money. He'll get a few years out of it for sure. And the $1.97 shipping from Walmart.com can't be beat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for my daughter's birthday not really knowing how much use we'd get out of it and it turns out, it's turned us into weekend warriors! We bought an adult size kayak as well and go out almost every weekend to the lake in the summer. I even enjoy using it myself and I am right at the weight limit. It's also very easy to transport because of the size & can withstand tons of abuse. Get one, your kid will love it.
