I bought this kayak for my nephew who turned 7 he loves it and it will be great for him to use on the river.

He is still not strong enough to lift it but he can drag it to the water. Easy slope allows him to crawl out of the water. Nice design.

These kayaks are great!!!!!! Our boys 8 and 10 years old did great their first time out. Very maneuverable!!!!!

Easy to steer and hard to tip. My kids love them and feel very comfortable exploring on their own with them.
