We bought 2 of these for our grandkids, 6 & 7. The size and flotation are perfect for their smaller forms. Both kids mastered paddling and steering in a short time and we were quickly off exploring the coastline. They even shared with other kids at the beach who had great fun with them too. Our experience shows that putting an adult on board with a kid is pushing the limits (130# limit according to the specs). We expect to get at least a 1/2 dozen years worth of paddling fun out of these. Also looking forward to kayak sledding this winter here in the North country!

So excited to have finally got an alert that the green was in stock! Ordered it immediately before it sold out again. Much cheaper here (and comes with paddles!!!) than other sport stores. And shipping is FREE! Kayak was bigger than I thought it would be, but my son had no problem navigating it in a calm lake. He absolutely loves it. He is 6 years old, approx 50 lbs. Will last him a few years I believe.

Our 3 year old boy used one of these recently at a swimming hole we visit, and he was enamored! We did not even have to teach him how to maneuver it. He got out there and rowed all over the swimming hole. The boat is very stable and easy to steer - he never fell off. I bought him one for his 4th birthday, and he loves it. What a great price too!

Just what I was looking for. I'm 70 years old and 128 pounds. so I need something that I could handel. Yes....you will get a little wet, it sits right on top of the water and the sides are lower then a full size kayak, but it fits right in my small suv not on the roof.....already used it three times on the small pond near my home

I have two pink ones and one blue. i bought the blue just to pull behind me for carry my gear for kayak camping. the pink ones are for my daughters. My oldest took right off in this thing, like she knew what she was doing lol. very stable, glides across water and she loves it.

My daughter received this as a Christmas gift. We were having record high temps at Christmas, and she was able to put this in the water the day after getting it. She is 8 years old with zero kayaking experience. I was beside her in my Kayak, and she had no difficulty operating this kayak. We paddled around for a good hour, and she never had an ounce of difficulty. I was very pleased with the simplicity of the Kayak and the way she was able to navigate it through the water. Now we are ready for summer.

Purchased for my 11 yr old son and he loves it . Very stable and easy to enter and exit. So stable and tracks well enough my 5 yr old daughter used it with no problems as well. Probably going to get my son a larger one and let my daughter use it for many more years.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Recently received a child’s kayak from Walmart for my children. Our first time on the lake today and my daughter was injured by this rivet that was not installed correctly. She has some pretty deep cuts on both of her legs, she was bleeding and crying when I got here out of the water. We did inspect this before use but didn’t notice this rivet because of the handle. I’m not sure if my daughter will require medical care yet or not. This is totally unacceptable. I will be expecting to hear from your company.

I bought three of the 6’ youth kayaks in different colors for my grandchildren. I thought all the colors looked very nice, but green was my favorite. I guess that’s why it was the most expensive. Yhey’re actually good quality and the kids have been enjoying them. The 9 and 10 year olds were able to stand up and paddle them (with an occasional tumble).

This kayak is very functional for use on flat water. My grandchildren all got right on it and were able to paddle around the lake with no problems. It is stable and floats high in the water. It is small enough to throw into the back of the truck and light enough that it is easy to carry. A great starter kayak for children.
