It's good on the chicken but I thought it needed more salt and also the flavor would be better suited,for my taste, on salmon. It was much better on salmon but still needed more salt. When I added it to my broccoli, I mixed it with butter and it was good. Sprinkled on rice was not what I thought it would be and I did t finish my rice.

It is a nice mild asian flavor. I can taste the ginger in it the most. I have never used seasonings from this brand before and this was as good as anything else i've ever bought as far as quality. I always enjoy Asian seasoning and cuisine, so I am excited to find this Japanese BBQ seasoning. The seasoning is soy-based and it has hints of sugar, salt, ginger and garlic. It also contains sesame seed and sesame oil for additional flavor. The good news is that it doesn't have a high sodium content. I rubbed it to chicken before cooking. I also sprinkled additional powder on my air-fried chicken. The seasoning is not overwhelming and it's quite mild in taste, which I don't mind.

We used this to season a lot of our chicken or beef when we made stir fry and it was delicious. My husband who is the cook in our family was really into this and used it more than once a week for a few weeks. He would put it in everything just to try new things and come up with new recipes. My favorite though was definitely the chicken he marinated with this and then cooked and served it over rice with veggies!
