The ginger scent is stronger than the soy and garlic. I have used it in salads and it gives a refreshing taste. For marinating, I think you need a lot to taste the flavor.

I put the thighs in a ziploc, along with some sesame oil, sesame seeds, and fresh ginger. Then I cooked them in the Air Fryer. The flavor is so good! I can't wait to try this on some shrimp!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this Kinders Japanese BBQ Seasoning was just okay. I used it on chicken, salmon, rice, and broccoli. It's good on the chicken but I thought it needed more salt and also the flavor would be better suited,for my taste, on salmon. It was much better on salmon but still needed more salt. When I added it to my broccoli, I mixed it with butter and it was good. Sprinkled on rice was not what I thought it would be and I did t finish my rice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Japanese bbq seasoning is very delicious. I loved it on my steak and on my salmon, you don't need much to add the perfect amount of flavor. It has the right amount of sweet and salty I would love to try other seasonings from this brand.

I used to in an overnight marinade with olive oil and then cooked it on my Blackstone with some veggies and noodles. Was terrific!
