Member's Mark USDA Choice Angus Beef Ribeye Steak, Thin Sliced, priced per pound

These were a huge disappointment they were cut way too thin almost see through

Way too thin

Complete waste of money!

Steaks were tough & had little flavor. Not worth buying.

These looked like they had good marbel but were full of fat pockets

Too fatty

I needed 6 steaks and that’s what I got. The problem was the butcher who cut them was either sleepy or didn’t know what he was doing. They were various thicknesses and the bottom (hidden) one was 1 1/2” thick on one side and 1/8” think on the other. Wedge shaped.

I’ve bought round steak that was better.  Never had strip steak this tough.

Very tough

Very disappointed with the ribeye steaks and will not be buying the again from Sams Club. When we opened the tray, the meat was grey where the 2 pieces touched, it looked red and juicy where the meat was exposed.  It tasted terrible and both my husband and I were not well that night or the next day, and we threw the rest away.

Buyer beware

These are really quite expensive per pound, BUT. I use them for quick breakfast steaks, or quick air frier meals (rinse, season and 400° for 8 minutes, flip at 4 minutes). Generally,  they are consistent quality. Occasionally,  there are lesser pieces hidden on the bottom.
Cooking smaller, but still want a steak. These work well.
