Very happy with the quality, butcher trimming and freshness of this prime filet log

This is an absolutely fantastic tenderloin. It was flavorful because of the tiny amount of fat left around the edges and incredibly tender. We are truly steak eaters and often order Japanese A5 Wagyu. But the extraordinary price of this Prime Grade tenderloin means we’ll keep this alongside the Wagyu because of the value.

Very good but below prime. I’ve had better from Sam’s.

Loaded with membrane and tough for prime fillet

The Prime tenderloin is always excellent. We smoked the large end and cut the small end into individual filets. Great value too!

I would consider most of this as choice. I only got two cuts that had enough marbling to call it prime.

Great meat but way too much fat included, lost about 30% of total volume after trimming off the fat and silver skin

Sorry but this piece was a disappointment. There was more fat than meat. Almost as if “it’s a pick-up just give them the piece no one else wants.” Past pick-up pieces were great but not this one. Will shop in store for meat from now on.

I bought it in a pinch for Christmas Eve dinner party. I probably took off 2 lbs of fat. I've had better at other Sam's clubs. Pittsburgh Sams has better quality than Myrtle Beach Sams.

Was disappointed that I purchased this and put it in my refrigerator for two hour. Opened it to process it into usable portions and found that it was rancid in the center.
