It's unfortunate that the smallest piece of tenderloin that I could buy or preorder was over 7#s. But they were great at pretrimming and tying the meat for us. Thank you

Disappointed in this year's purchase. Way more fat than normal and it was $8 more per pound than the last several years. At $21lb that thing should have been amazing. It was decent but not to the normal standards.

I buy this for an annual holiday meal of Beef Wellington. Trimming down the whole tenderloin allows me to select the best portion for that meal, plus I have lovely leftover cuts to enjoy in other dishes. It's a great value.

Wow! So I grew up in the upper midwest and am familiar with truly flavorful grain/corn fed beef. I left that part of the country 20 years ago and have never had beef that flavorful again until now. People think I'm crazy when I tell them how much I miss grain fed beef (as opposed to grass fed or pasture raised) and just how wonderful the flavor is. This PRIME Grain Fed tenderloin cooked perfectly for Christmas dinner. Guests spoke about the wonderful flavor and texture all night and days later. You are what you eat!

I've been buying beef from Sam's Club for 20 years and I feel like the quality has been slipping over the last year or two. I carved this up a few days ago and I am not exaggerating when I say I threw away 25%. For something that was supposed to be the higher end filet, it was a severe disappointment and I don't think I'll be buying steaks anymore at Sam's.

The meat is excellent but in took me over an hour to cut away all the fat

Delicious, but everything my husband makes is!!! A LOT of fat on this. We've purchased twice and theres a lot of trimming that needs done.

There was gristle in the cut. And I saw the same thing at Harris Teeter for less money
