We buy the Members Mark beef tenderloin to make Beef Wellington. It is incredible. Flavor is delicious, it is so tender you don't need a knife and it always impresses our guests. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

Meat was fresh when picked up. Baked as beef tenderloin roast with garlic herb butter and served with horseradish sauce, was delicious. Lots of compliments and no waste!

Wow! So I grew up in the upper midwest and am familiar with truly flavorful grain/corn fed beef. I left that part of the country 20 years ago and have never had beef that flavorful again until now. People think I'm crazy when I tell them how much I miss grain fed beef (as opposed to grass fed or pasture raised) and just how wonderful the flavor is. This PRIME Grain Fed tenderloin cooked perfectly for Christmas dinner. Guests spoke about the wonderful flavor and texture all night and days later. You are what you eat!

We buy this regularly as we always have filets on hand to have at home. You can buy this whole roast and break it down yourself for what it would cost you to go out and eat 1 or 2 times and you can get 10-14 steaks out of this. There are plenty of YouTube videos that show how to break this down into steaks and it doesn't take long to do as long as you have a sharp knife and a vacuum sealer. We get the Prime over the Choice as it has better marbling.

We enjoy grilling at home and our favorite cut "prime grade, beef tenderloin" is available in whole loins at Sam's Club at an affordable price. The last one was $164+. We buy the whole loin and cut our own steaks (1 1/4" thick) averaging twelve steaks per loin, for a cost of approximately $13-14 per steak. We eat some fresh and freeze the rest. This is far less than "steak house" prices and twice as tasty because we can cook it to our own or our guests' liking. Sam's Club whole beef tenderloin gets 5 stars from us.

Meat cooked excellent. It was loaded with hidden fat which I had to trim before cooking. Not used to this level of surrounding fat on tenderloin. I did not weigh the fat but my estimation was 1.5 to 2 lbs of waste fat I had to trim. That is was too high and increases the price I paid ‘net’ significantly

It's unfortunate that the smallest piece of tenderloin that I could buy or preorder was over 7#s. But they were great at pretrimming and tying the meat for us. Thank you

I buy this for an annual holiday meal of Beef Wellington. Trimming down the whole tenderloin allows me to select the best portion for that meal, plus I have lovely leftover cuts to enjoy in other dishes. It's a great value.

Disappointed in this year’s purchase. Way more fat than normal and it was $8 more per pound than the last several years. At $21lb that thing should have been amazing. It was decent but not to the normal standards.

The steak was all muscle and lots of fat. I had a houseful and we were very dissatisfied and i won't purchase again. For $ 189.00 that steak should have been fabulous it wasn't. I bought one in may and it was delicious. Really disappointed.
