The only drawback for me is that, because it is a manual machine, the espresso doesn't stop brewing when it's done. You just kind of have to guess when you've brewed enough. That can be tricky to figure out. Otherwise, as long as you read the manual first, it's easy to use.

Set up is quick and simple, all directions are clear, and plenty of illustrations and pictures to make the process nearly foolproof. I love the three size inserts for the espresso grounds so you can customize how many shots you make; they fit securely so even when I hit it against the waste bowl the insert stays put. I also found the scoop/tamping tool very handy. This machine makes a nice espresso with beautiful crema on top. I'm saving so much money making my specialty coffee drinks at home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two weeks ago, receive the DeLonghi manual espresso machine. I has been used for that time and this is my oppinion. The machine works very good the coffe cup is creamy and strong and the aroma of coffee is delicious. Some cons that I found is very slow to fill and prepare your coffee. We start our day at 4 am and to prepare 2 coffees invest at least 15 minutes. Also the machine is dirty because has leaks and when your prepare the coffee always hace residuos of coffee in the table. Also the portion of coffee is very small. In conclusion, I recommend the machine if you have time and patience to clean, and refill coffee. If you don't rush in the morning to go work is fantastic.

It makes the best cup of coffee and lattes are simple. I've made iced lattes that taste like I went and bought them at a coffee shop! It's perfect.

I wasn't too sure I was going to be able to make good coffee, but I filled the instructions and I'm getting better everyday. Clean up is easy and the machine comes with really good recipes to try. Highly recommend!

I am able to make lattes, espresso, and cappuccinos that taste just like the ones at coffee shops. This is espresso machine does not have a coffee bean grinder, but does have a milk frother.
