This is the only meat we have ever bought from Sam’s Club that just wasn’t good quality. It didn’t cook well. We were very disappointed.

Lots of Fat but worth it, Good hunk of Meat under $4.00 /lb Smoke it Correctly it's just as tasty as the more expensive cuts.

We smoked it for Thanksgiving and it was awesome. It was about 11 lbs and just right for the family. We even had enough for leftovers the next day.

Great brisket including the point. Most stores only sell you the flat. Juicy, moist, the best brisket I've smoked yet.

15 pounds is what I paid for, over 8 pounds of fat trimmed off. Cost me twice what I would pay at my local butcher.

I understand prices have increased because of Covid, and I was willing to pay the $5.60 lb for a Memorial Day cook. VERY little marbling that resulted in less than satisfying results.

I bought a case of these. They have to be trimmed quite a bit even though it says trimmed. Once you do that, I smoked mine for 18 hours, and I always get rave reviews. Low and slow is always the ticket for a brisket.

These briskets have ridiculously thick fat caps. This should have been trimmed off before putting them up for sale. As it is, the thick fat cap effectively raises the price of the meat excessively.

Normally when I buy meats at sams, you have a couple of days or a week-sometimes more so i didn't even think to check the date at the time. But 3 days later, I go to pull it out to prepare it for the next day and see that it was past its USE or Freeze by date WHEN I bought it. I bought it on Oct 30 and it was dated for Oct 29th.It was like Nov 2/3 when I when to cook it. I took a pic of the label but I doubt sams does anything to make good on this.
