A bit time consuming with install and then connecting to wifi etc. Keeps my big living room and kitchen cold. The remote works great especially for those lazy days!! I would recommend this AC!

Not only can you use the buttons on the front panel itself to adjust the temperature you want the room to be but also it can be done by remote control. We downloaded an app in which you can turn it on/off while away from home in which we just went to the beach and turned it on as we were headed home and the house was cool when we arrived home. There is a sleep mode mode you can set or even a fan mode so many different options. This is the perfect window unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had some very warm days earlier this summer and I could not wait to get this AC unit installed to give us cooler sleeping nights when the heat returned. Although we live in the SF Bay Area and it does not get SUPER warm, it can get up there during the summer and into the early fall so we are now ready. Having this unit WiFi enabled so that we can enable it to turn on a little before we get home is really nice. We installed it in our living room (took about an hour or so) which has the largest area and it works really fast and without a whole lot of noise to where it's distracting. I am really impressed and thankful that we now have AC for any time the evenings have warm air without any movement.

Let’s face it, a southern Louisiana Summer is HOT and i will take all of the extra cool i can get. I have been very pleased with this product in respect to ease of installation and ease of use. Also the output of cool air does not disappoint and the wifi and voice control features are a bonus to easily change the temp as needed.

It cools off our very large den real fast. We only have a swamp cooler here in AZ and sometimes they don't work so well, and with his window air conditioner, it stays so nice and comfortable. This cooler has many features. You can control it with a remote control, the smartphone app, or voice control with your Alexa. We have been mainly using the app or remote. It is an Energy star saver, which is a big plus for us here in the desert. We really like how we can turn it up or down with the remote. We spend a lot of time in this room, and even more with this air conditioner which makes it more comfortable.

It can be controlled from the unit itself, with the remote, and you can download an app and control it from your phone! With the app, I can turn it on when I'm heading home from the store, work, etc. and let it start cooking things down before I come home. It is also voice controlled which is even better when I'm laying on the couch and getting too hot or too cold and need to adjust it without getting up. It has multiple fan speeds and settings to find just what you need. It really is an amazing air conditioner!

My husband was able to install it in our living room side window easily and it keeps the whole room cool. The remote control feature is nice but I absolutely love having it connected to my Amazon Alexa. The wifi setup was easy as well.

Getting a prober seal on the window is a challenge but that seems normal. Cools well, haven’t gotten our first bill yet so not sure on the electricity but it keeps us cool.

Our kids rooms and a playroom are upstairs and it gets quite warm up there. We received the Midea 10,000 BTUSmartCool Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control. We thought this could be the extra boost of cool air we need to keep the upstairs cooled in the summer. We installed it in the playroom which is in the center room of the house. I like that you can control it via the smart phone MideaAir app. And it also has a remote control for easy use as well. It does offer wifi and voice control via Alexa or Google Home but we have not used that feature yet. Installation was pretty easy with the installation kit that was provided. The directions were easy to follow. It's relatively quiet and cooled the room very quickly. The features are great and I don't think it's missing anything - at least for our needs. I think this was just what we needed to solve our upstairs air flow needs!
