My son, age 9, loved using this kayak at Bear Lake. He was very comfortable on it from the beginning, and didn't want to get off. It was so fun to watch him have the confidence in himself to paddle all alone, even with the waves. This kayak is perfect for kids. It is very well built, and the paddle is just the right size and weight for the kids to use. Thanks for making such a great fun product for kids!

I got one of these for my son's 9th birthday. I needed it quickly, so I did not have time to wait for shipping. The first store I went to was sold out, but I was able to find this Blue one at the second store I visited for $88. The higher online price is probably to cover shipping expenses. This kayak is light enough that my 9-year old can pull it down to the pond and back up to the garage when he is done. It also scoots along the water with ease! I have an aluminum flat-bottom boat with a similar looking paddle to maneuver with, and there is no way I can catch him in my boat. I hope Walmart lets me keep the video link on here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cN1c74ijMM

This kayak is very light and easy to transport. It is also very stable. We have taken it out a few times and even my five year old can handle it. On one trip out we had my eight year old and a friend on at the same time and it worked just fine. Tracking is not great and it is slow, but stability and weight is much more important for our uses. The fact that the paddle is included made this a really good bargain. I had hoped that I could use this too, but it sank immediately when I got on. Any hopes of slimming down and using it where gone when it sank under a friend who is about 145. This product is easy to transport since it is so small and light. It can go in the car or on the car without a problem. The price is better than any place else I have seen. I would buy this again.

My kids love this kayak. It’s a nice option for my 6 and 9 year old. They are able to kayak well on their own. It’s pretty light weight too make it easy to get in and out of the water. My 9 year old can lift it by himself. I highly recommend getting it.

I love this kayak, it will give years of use and then be passed on to the next person to use. Well made, however the the drain plug was not well made and pops so keep watch on that. The image of the yellow kayak shows the back rest which is NOT included with the kayak and is not available as an after market purchase. I was a bit ticked at that.

we got this kayak for our kids, ages 7 & 4. it's perfect for them in just a pond or lake. I for sure wouldn't use it on moving water. the weight restriction is for real - I wouldn't put more than 100 pounds on it. I'm glad we got it, and lots of people have asked us where we got it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought one of these for our 4 & 8 year old sons as a way to enjoy the lake and be out on the water as we paddleboard and use our Lifetime Adult Kayak. The kids have enjoyed it SO much and have gotten so proficient with paddling. It's durable, lightweight, and fun!

My kids received these for their birthday!! They love them!! We did have an issue where one of paddles broke the first day using it. I called customer service and they were quick to help us with replacing it under the warranty! This is a great product for the beginners as they caught on easily with how to use them! Now I’m being asked everyday to go out! If your looking for something fun and relaxing to do on the water I’d highly suggest getting one!!

I bought 3 for my grandkids, they love them. They are lite and easy to handle. The kids were able to maneuver the kayak through the irrigation ditches as well as on the lake. I would recommend this product to a anyone looking for an inexpensive, lite weight watercraft that you don't want to worry about puncturing or popping.

We bought our boys each a wave a couple years ago because they decided that they wanted to spend their summers in the water instead of on the field. We LOVE them!!! They have held up so well with over 100 uses and almost 20 kids using them. They still look brand new!! Way to build such high quality products.
