Our 6 yr old granddaughter was simply delighted when she saw her new hot pink kayak! The kayak seems to be very well made along with the paddle. The paddle is a perfect size, sturdy %26 a perfect weight for her. Once they get out on the lake, we'll know more. But for now, her parents %26 grandparents are very happy with the quality.

They are light enough that my 7 year olds can get them in and out of the water. They can navigate in them well. They really enjoy them. The adult kayaks were just too big and bulky for them. These are perfect. We now have 5 of these. I have probably received them before.

We purchased this item for our dog to ride on while being pulled along behind our kayaks. She is a 60 pound German Shepherd/Border Collie mix. It held her nicely and fit her just right. As far as stability goes, she did not rock or sway and it does pull nicely without any drag.

i bought this for my grandson, and OMG he flipped, said it was the best gift hes ever gotten ( hes 7 years old LOL ) any way it fit him perfect, and his parents got him a matching vest (lime green), made me so happy I could make his Birthday so exciting!!

It's perfect for kids 6-9 years old just learning how to kayak. I've been teaching my granddaughters how to flip them over and then flip them back right and get back up on them.

Better than expected! My 9 year old daughter had zero trouble cutting through the water and keeping up with the adults in this kayak. I modified it by adding a seat using some waterproof rivets but other than that it all went perfect.

Got one for my 7 year old Grandson for Christmas. He went out on the lake here in NC the next day. It was very stable and he was able to maneuver and paddle it very easily. He thinks it is great to be able to go where he wants to explore.

We got one of these kayaks for each kid and, so far, they love them. We’ve already paddled several miles up and down a pretty wide and busy river, both with and against the current. The kids were able to keep up. Even with the waves from passing speedboats, they were able to stay upright by either facing into the waves, or by facing away and riding them. I like that we don't have to worry about them getting trapped inside if they were to flip. And of course life jackets are a must! These kayaks are light weight and easy to transport and could even support a small adult (under 130 or so , I believe?) Overall they were a good deal (especially since we had to buy several at once.) IMHO they pretty much payed for themselves the first time we took them out, especially when you considering pricelessness of family time spent out in nature.

This is a great kayak at a value price! They are high quality and I anticipate, because of this, they will last for many years to come. If you have a child who loves the water, this is a “must get” item! It comes with oars, too, so no need to run out to search and buy those. The best thing about these kayaks is how sturdy yet lightweight they are, so they’re easy to lift. As I said before, this is a high value item!
