my 8yr old loves it.

I bought two of these for my daughters ages 8 and 11 to enjoy this summer. They've already spent countless hours on them, even turning them into paddle boards they can stand on. Totally worth it!

My son loves his new youth kayak. He is 7 and has never tried anything like this before but took to it instantly and shot off like a pro. He has never tipped. He feels safe and I do to. Love it. Lightweight. Easy to handle.

Great beginner kayak for youth. Our grandsons loved it and padded around like experts! Adding a seat would put this over the top for value and ease of use.

My kids absolutely love these! The size is perfect for them ( 5yo & 7yo) to paddle them selves and steer well! We get asked about them all the time, a few of their friends have gotten one as well!

Very well built and light weight. A 107 lb., 160 lb. and two children 6 yr and 4yr tried it out. It was a lot of fun. Easy to maneuver. Kids took to it right away and looked like pros.

The reviews say the kayak holds up to 130 lbs but i would probably revise that to 110. More than that takes in too much water and hard to keep steady and above water level

These kayaks are very maneuverable for kids, and they are quite reasonably priced. I bought 3 of them after my kids tried them out while on vacation on a lake in NY. We live on a bay, and my kids love taking them out. The only weird thing is that they come in a large, clear plastic bag, rather than a box with bubble wrap. All 3 arrived undamaged, so no complaints, I guess. It just seems it would be easy for them to get damaged en route, considering how they're packaged. If you have access to a lake or a bay, your kids will love these!!! I always make my kids wear a life jacket just in case, and I would buy a life jacket along with this item, regardless of whether or not they know how to swim if you don't already own one. They're not tippy, or anything, these are quite stable. I'm very pleased that I was able to find these Kayaks and that they were reasonably priced. I ordered 2 of them from Amazon first, for a bit more money. The label actually said Walmart, so I guess a seller on Amazon buys from Walmart first. After I saw that I ordered the third one from Walmart.

Just perfect for the money. My daughter is nine and had no problems floating the river in this kayak. Calm water or in the current. I am a small framed person and it also holds me just fine to. In my opinion, this is a great starter kayak for a child and a great deal for the cost. Not fancy by no means but serves the purpose.
