I ordered this kayak after seeing a fleet of them at my five-year-old daughter's camp, and seeing how easily they were paddled by kids 5-10 years old. The stability is excellent, when swimming my daughter can pull herself on to it, and even the paddle is decently high quality. The handle on the front makes it easy to attach to my kayak with a rope, so I can pull her around if she gets tired. We attached the rope to a carabiner, so she can attach it herself while we're on the lake. Yesterday we had three little girls on it and it did fine. If you get more than one, they stack nicely. Can't believe it's this inexpensive.

I bought this kayak for my grandchildren ages 3 to 10. It kept them busy for hours, they absolutely love it! The paddles are just a little shorter than the adult size, which is just perfect! They had no trouble getting on and off and maneuvering around! The only problem is I only bought one! Highly recommend purchase!

We got our boats earlier than expected. My boys 7 and 9 love these boats. They are great boats to learn to kayak on. There is no storage so I tied whistles to the life jackets. It was difficult for my children to get the paddles on the boat, and climb back on. I would recommend attaching the paddle to the boat so it does not float away. The kayak comes equipped with chalks to attach the paddle all you need is line of some sort. I would highly recommend this boat to anyone that meets the weight requirement. A bystander at the boat launch also loved the boats and asked where I got them and how much I paid. Unfortunately it looks like the price went up since I bought mine.

I just got it for my kids 5th birthday and he loves it. Within 2 minutes he had a hang of it and was paddling all around on his own and loving his newfound freedom. It’s great that it is so small and light. The plugs to keep water out of the inside of the kayak itself seem cheap but then that solid simple kids kayak. Just what we needed

Just perfect for the money. My daughter is nine and had no problems floating the river in this kayak. Calm water or in the current. I am a small framed person and it also holds me just fine to. In my opinion, this is a great starter kayak for a child and a great deal for the cost. Not fancy by no means but serves the purpose.

These kayaks are simply awesome! They are so well made and the perfect size for our 10 and 12 year olds. And you can’t beat the price, it’s literally the best price we’ve found. The colors in person are so vibrant and fun too. We have a lime green and blue. They are also lightweight enough for our kids to carry to the beach themselves. Such a fun addition to our summer life at a price that didn’t break the bank!

I have purchased three lifetime kayaks this summer and I’m thrilled with my purchases. The kayaks themselves are very well made and comfortable. They’re easy to maintain and maneuver on the water. Lots of great details. I’m also very pleased with Lifetime’s customer service. One of my kayaks arrived with an incorrect paddle pice. I contacted Lifetime and they shipped a replacement out to me right away.

These are fun little boats! My 5 year old can manage it, my 14 year old can enjoy it in a more wobbly fashion, and even I got on and could enjoy a ride (despite being about 30 lbs over the weight limit!). Very agile on the water, easy to transport in a minivan, easy for the kids to carry (but not the 5 year old).

I purchased several of these for my daughter (10 yrs old) and her friends. They love these! Theyve used adult size kayaks and feel so much better in these. They are lightweight and really stable. My wife is under the weight limit and really likes these as well. I fully recommend these.

The kayak was fine once it finally arrived Extremely un happy about the terribly long time for shipping (15 days) and horrible inaccurate shipping tracking. Every day for several days said it was being delivered and was not. I'm very disappointed!!!!!
