A friend recommended this to me, and at the price, it seemed too good to be true. The first time my 9-year old put it into the ocean, she easily climbed off and kayaked away, looking like she'd been born to it. It's steady, fun, light enough for her to carry down to the beach by herself, and sturdy. We'll probably buy another for my 5-year-old next year.

Bought this kayak for our granddaughter who just turned 8. She was feeling left out because we all had our own kayaks including her 12 year old sister but she was just not big enough for a regular size. She got in and took off like she had been paddling her entire life. Had a wonderful time on it. Perfect size.

We had an issue with the kayak and submitted a warranty claim through the Lifetime website. The customer service representative, Ian, was outstanding. He was courteous and competent, he understood our issue and provided a replacement product quickly. We could not ask for anything more. Ian is a credit to the company and we will buy more Lifetime products because we know the company stands behind their products!

I haven't taken it out on the water yet since it's still winter- this is for my son. He is turning 6 this year and he loves being in the water and loves outside adventures. I borrowed a friend's kayak last summer for him and loved it. I asked him if he wanted a kayak or a paddleboard since I paddleboard. However he went with the kayak he said it was easier for him to control plus he's sitting down. I can't wait for him to take it out. The quality and price are outstanding.

Pros : lightweight (my 8 years old can carry it to the water alone). Perfect size. Clever feature to put the paddle at rest in the front. Cons : wish it came with a backrest. Wish the foot steps were closer (my son had to fully extend legs to reach the foot step)

I bought this for my daughter's 6th birthday and she loves it!! I was at first afraid being so young and only using one once last year but she did excellent and picked it up real fast again. It comes with a back rest but the foam tore apart after one use, other than that it's probably the thing I've invested in for her, and she's so tiny that she can use this for many years.

I bought two kayaks for my 7 year old daughter and 9 year old son. They had never been kayaking before and these were so easy for them to use. They took right off after getting in the water. They are also super easy for them get back on after taking a swimming break. I definitely recommend for young children.

Ordered as a Birthday present for my Grandson I was told it would take two weeks and instead it arrived the day after I ordered it! It is great quality at a good price. He was immediately comfortable on it and has wanted to go out every day. I can barely keep up to him on my Paddleboard.

My 6 year old and 9 year old love these!! You can paddle around or even stand up on them like a paddle board. The easy entry back is a great feature too! We have just played with them in the pool but looking forward to talking them to the lake all summer!

We bought these for our 6 year old twin grandchildren (boy, girl) for their ‘prize’ at the lake house this year. They absolutely love them. They both picked up on how to use them almost immediately!! The paddles aren’t too heavy & are just the right size. I love the choice of colors offered!! All in all a great purchase that will last for years to come!!
