These kayaks are perfect for kids. They are sturdy and can be used in multiple ways. My four year old likes to use half the paddle like you would for a canoe. My seven year old learned to use the full paddle quickly and also has used it like a paddle board. We also were able to connect them to larger kayaks and tow them around the lake for a while. Both kids have already used them several times at the beach for at least an hour before they were ready to stop. These are a great purchase!

I ordered one of these kayaks from a big sports retailer for my daughter's birthday. I placed the order weeks in advance, as I know these items are hard to get in the summer. After 2 weeks, I checked on the status of my order & it was "unclear" whether it would be available on time. While on hold, I ordered the kayak at Walmart.com - got FREE SHIPPING - and was done. A week later, my kayak arrived days before the birthday. Thank you Walmart. I now have 2 of these kayaks -- they are excellent for kids. Light weight = easy to carry, the back allows children to slide off & climb back on in the water, it comes with a paddle and it is hours & hours of fun. When my youngest kids are a bit older, I will be ordering more of these for them.

This kayak is wonderful... and very awkward. There is a front toggle... however nothing at all at the back end. I understand with the swim platform it makes it difficult, however, the kayak is very hard to get ahold of if you are just one person. I don’t want to drag it on my concrete driveway from garage to truck. Carrying on the shoulder is difficult because my arms aren’t long enough. Also, the paddle could use a drip guard, it did not come with it.

We absolutely love our kid-size kayaks! They are perfect at lake Powell, Bear Lake, and anyplace else you take your kiddos. They are easy to paddle and maneuver. Our grandkids just love them. Our 8 year old granddaughter paddled hers all the way out and back to Lone Rock at Lake Powell all by herself ! Great Product!

I love these kayaks! . We have 3 different fun colors for the kids to share when they visit us at the lake. The perfect size for our grandchildren and easy for them to maneuver around. The kids range in age from 6-9 and have so much fun playing in the water. I would highly recommend this product.

The kayak is very well made and I am happy with it. I was however very surprised that it was delivered to my front door in a clear plastic bag, which clearly showed what it was. I expected it to be in some kind of a container, and not out in plain view on my front door, where someone could have walked away with it before I found it. Also, I don't know why they call it a bonus paddle , because it came with one paddle only.

The kids have enjoyed it SO much and have gotten so proficient with paddling. It's durable, lightweight, and fun!

While all the adults paddle board this kids kayak. Very sturdy. Well built and can even hold a smaller adult. What a great deal for a kayak and paddle!

we got this kayak for our kids, ages 7 & 4. it's perfect for them in just a pond or lake. I for sure wouldn't use it on moving water. the weight restriction is for real - I wouldn't put more than 100 pounds on it. I'm glad we got it, and lots of people have asked us where we got it.

Awesome fun kayak for our son. He will spend hours on the lake paddling around. So happy we were able to get this at such a great deal. It is funny how the different colors are different prices, with blue being the most expensive...triple the price. We are happy with yellow!
