Bought this for our daughter when she was 6. She's a but on the smaller side, but it has been perfect for her! She's used it 2 summers now with multiple river trips and still holding up strong! I imagine we'll get a few more summers out of it! Can't beat the price. The bright colors are also a huge plus so you can spot your child easily if they get away from you!

I was buying one, and before i left the store I had to get the last one so I bought two for both my kids and they love them. They were riding waves and paddling and having tons of fun. My kids just want to go out everyday and ride them. You have to get used to them saying, can we go to the beach, can we go to the beach.

My kids have enjoyed these so much! I bought 2 and have been so happy about this purchase. Our pool isn't quite warm enough to commit to constant swimming yet, so these have been the perfect pool activity until things warm up a bit more. The weight suggestion is on point. I weigh 133 and it barely rides above the water with me in it, so definitely made for the kiddos. They also love to stand on it and use it like a paddleboard. We would absolutely recommend this purchase.

This kayak is wonderful... and very awkward. There is a front toggle... however nothing at all at the back end. I understand with the swim platform it makes it difficult, however, the kayak is very hard to get ahold of if you are just one person. I don’t want to drag it on my concrete driveway from garage to truck. Carrying on the shoulder is difficult because my arms aren’t long enough. Also, the paddle could use a drip guard, it did not come with it.

The kayak is a perfect size and love the 2 sided oar that comes with it. My son loves it. The only thing I didn't know was that it has a hole in the bottom of the kayak so everytime he gets in it he gets very wet, which is fine in the summer, but not so good in the fall when it's not quite as warm. Other than that, it is a perfect gift for a younger child who likes to kayak.

We have had two youth kayaks for several years and are very happy with them. I have had to contact Lifetime twice, once to order an accessory for each and recently to order replacement plugs which had mysteriously disappeared. In both cases, the experience was wonderful! Inquiries are dealt with in a timely manner, and both of our needs have been met satisfactorily. I am impressed! Keep up the good work, Lifetime!

The kayak was a kid's kayak, so I had little experience with it personally. We had a problem with a plug and a seat and the people at Lifetime were terrific. Very personable and professional and the issues were resolved quickly. Five Stars for Excellent Service!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son got this for Christmas and we finally had the opportunity to take it out on the water. It was awesome and provided 3 hours of fun for him. He sat, kneeled, and even stood on it. We learned on his own how to get on and off in deep water. This is a wonderful board!! Very sturdy but easy to carry--he's 10 and did it all by himself. As a mom, this kayak is a homerun! The only problem is it left me wanting my own. Thanks lifetime!

We bought this for our granddaughter's 9th birthday and she loved it. It is very stable in the water allowing her to get on without any tipping. She was able to paddle all around with no problem. The only improvement would be if it came with a backrest pad.

We purchased one three or four years ago for our first grandson to use at our home on a lake. 7 grandkids later it works as good as new, with no maintenance to speak of. The only thing that we have had to do to it is replace the drain stopper after the kids took it out to see if they could sink the kayak. the kayak still floated enough to get it to shore, but they managed to lose the plug. The oldest whittled a stick to fit in its place. That was two seasons ago and it still works fine.
