Easy to build, everything was well labeled and organized. I bought this and repainted the door and bench, but you definitely don't need to. You can leave it the way it comes and it would still be cute.

Sooo cute! Got it for my 22 mo old. Only thing I’d request is a door latch as it blows open and shut with wind but that is something we (aka my husband) can easily add.

This doesn’t really survive outside, it’s made of thin wood that warps over time. The door falls off easily. Requires a lot of maintenance. As we assembled we thought we made a mistake and bought an indoor item.

Bought this for my 4-year-old as a Christmas present. The package arrived open with much of the styrofoam protective layers busted. A few of the wood pieces were noticeably chipped. The plastic cover for the grill was busted apart. Worse than anything was the chemical odor that hovered in my basement for well over 24 hours which I assume has something to do with the paint on the playhouse. Overall, I would definitely say I will not be purchasing from KidKraft in the future as there were so many problems, one or two I could've accepted as slips through the cracks but there was at least a dozen.

Bought this knowing I was going to repaint it but could not believe the terrible quality control. Broken pieces. Paint applied by manufacturer was blotchy and terrible. The white coat was barely applied in most areas. Definitely not like the picture.

It was intimidating opening the box to so many pieces and long instructions, but I was actually impressed with their labeling of pieces and organization of the small pieces (like screws, etc). It took me and my husband the better part of a day but it turned out so cute! Only had issues on a few steps but able to rework it out. So excited to show our daughter at Christmas!

poor craftmanship- wood was horrible, half the paint was coming off some pieces were split. horrible experience for a Christmas gift

My 4 year old son loves it. I would recommend you paint it before assembling. It was a gift from Santa. I didn’t realize it needed painting first.

The wood is so soft that every time you put a screw in the wood cracks and brakes apart. You cannot assemble it.
