We were so excited to purchase and assemble this playhouse for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. My husband is very handy and often assembles products and yet it took him about 4 hours to assemble the house. The picnic table top arrived damaged and he had to make repairs to it for it to be usable. Several pieces of the wood were in very poor condition, including the inside of the door and the mailbox. Overall the quality of the wood was not what we had expected it would be . On the plus side, the design is great and our granddaughter likes to play in it.

This was a gift and my kids were so excited to get it. Alas, in merely unpacking all the pieces, the smell was so noxious that I came close to vomiting. I haven’t even started to assemble it yet and I’m worried about my kids getting near it. Multiple pieces have warped paint and cracks, too. Adding further confusion and frustration - although all of the parts are numbered, certain numbers are inexplicably skipped (both from the parts themselves and the list of parts in the instructions. Where is #16?!

We bought this playhouse as a Christmas gift for our girls (ages 2 and 4). They absolutely love it! It took 2-3 hours for my husband and I to assemble. I painted the house white with tan for the roof/table and a peachy pink for the door. It is so adorable! It looks great in our yard and our girls love playing in it. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought this for my girls for Christmas. I knew it needed painted so after putting it together I immediately did that. It looks so cute BUT the smell that came from it out of the box is incredible nauseating. Paint hasn’t even touched the smell. My kids won’t go in it. I’m so disappointed. I’m going to have to disassemble a gift from Santa and put it outside and hope it airs out. I’m not hopeful. I think I wasted my money.

First off, I own a children’s business, my husband is a contractor, so putting things together come rather easy- we get stickers can come off, and cut of wood, along with pilot-holes do not always line-up. But, there is NO EXCUSE for the missing stickers on parts, playing find Waldo & literally not receiving all support brackets to safely secure the playhouse we received. We get, that this is not “top dollars quality” but, it also is not cheap in price!!! Picture say a thousand words!!! The splintering, cracked wood, the “DANGER” it is for little fingers to get pinched & or splintered is unexceptionable. I literally would have to have a complete second playhouse sent to me to replace and or correct the massive flaws, broken pieces & missing parts in the one we received. Kidkraft, needs to own full responsibility for this. In no way is it safe or ok to send this to parents of small children. Unfortunately, I can’t post all photos, here is 6 of the worst. Many many cracks and unstable. Several hours of wasted time. It will be costly to secure safely. Hoping kidkraft responds. Please be aware, the one we received is not complete or safe in so many ways. Hoping this is isolated.

My husband didn’t have any issues assembling this playhouse. It was great that it came primed so I could add all of my own color choices and finishing touches to. I love that it was more of a blank slate. My 19 month old has been having a blast playing in it and she will for years to come!

I bought this for my daughters 4th birthday and she loves it. She loves playing in it all day! The first few weeks we had it she practically lived in there lol. My daughter has a big imagination so this is the perfect item for endless play alone or in a group.

The house is super cute. If you want a house that’s put together in an hour and already weatherproof go buy a plastic one. This one requires some work. We built a deck for ours to sit on, also as soon as we had it put together I put an exterior bonding primer on It( after reading all the reviews). We also sprayed the roof with the rubber seal spray stuff you see on commercials to protect and waterproof the roof. Then We added actual shingles. yes it’s a bit more work but necessary if you want it to last. Another note there were a number of holes that didn’t line up with the wood planks they were suppose to and the kid Kraft emblem Was on the door upside down and on the bottom. There were quiet a few holes that were in the wrong Place and never used. Also the directions do not accurately rep sent what pieces look like or how they are suppose to be secured. This took us 4 hours to put together.

House appears to be great quality. I love the modern look and that we could customize the house! The white paint appeared more like a base in some areas but it hasn't been a problem and gives it a more rustic feel. Assembly definitely took longer than expected but it wasn't an awful experience.

I bought this and hired someone on task rabbit to put it together last month. It took them about 2 hours. Some of the wood pieces arrived warped and the door handle has already started to rust. It is cute but at the listed price, it needs to hold up better
