This TV's picture quality is excellent. The sound volume from the TV is a little on the quiet side. The pain point is in the software. The Universal Remote Settings do not function very long. We keep having to delete the settings and then attempt to re-establish them which takes multiple attempts before it works again for a little while longer. We are using a Roku 4K Stick. Software in general is slow and there is a noticeable lag between input and output.

The quality of picture and sound delivered from the TV is 5 star quality. Missing a star in this review because the remote is awkward. The main button to accept functions is also a scrolling ball (like a computer mouse) and if one is trying to click with the ball and slide a finger ever so slightly, the function of "mouse mode" kicks in and makes things harder for navigation. Also, with so much streaming content, I would have liked to see a clear rewind and fast forward button (maybe to work at 10/15 second intervals if pushed and differing speeds if held). Finally, if you're a gamer or have children who still watch DVDs (yes, DVDs) there aren't enough HDMI ports to support this. Ending on a positive note - we have our TV mounted to a wall and don't feel that we'll need a sound bar. The TV is 15 feet away from where we sit and we haven't felt the need to get a sound bar to support the TV, it's worked well for us.

I bought this for my bed room and 43” is a perfect size. 5 stars for picture quality and sound. But the App Store is very limited, missing common apps like PBS, ABC, etc. Also AirPlay from my M1 MacBook does not work, keeps disconnecting. I still like this TV for its overall quality for the price.

It would have cost much much more to buy an equivalent-sized TV if I went with an OLED or QLED. The picture quality is good for what you pay for. I watch a lot of sports and it looks great. The only time I can really see the difference is when I'm watching movies where the scene is kind of dark. It's really difficult to see what's going on because the dark contrast isn't very clear, so essentially you're staring at a dark screen for the entire scene. The other minor complaint is that this SmartTV doesn't allow me to install the NBA app which I subscribed to in order to watch NBA games. For some reason it doesn't give me the option to install the app onto this TV, so I had to hook up an external Roku box just for this app. Lastly, I'm not a gamer, so I can't comment how it would look if you hooked up your PlayStation or XBox to it. Other than that, I'm happy with my purchase and can't complain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV more than 3 months ago and it hasn't worked yet. Screen is half-dead. Service wants me to take picture. I did. They received and want more. WHY??? the picture I sent shows clearly the problem, and I'm not in the same state as the TV at the moment. Service is refused until I provide picture. Infuriating!

I bought this TV about a month ago. Love everything about the Tv except the user's guide and the set-up instructions. As a member of the greatest generation, I'm not proficient in setting up electronic equipment. I need explicit instructions which is not provided in the box. Finally had to have my son set it up and explain to me how to maneuver around to get where I want to be. For the price everything else is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted with this tv for Christmas. I had never owned an LG TV before. I love this tv. The picture quality is excellent. The WebOS is easy to manage and intuitive. Best thing to happen to me in awhile.

Bought this tv couple months ago, and I'm really happy with this. It has many functions with it (YouTube,hulu, you name it). It has amazing tv quality! It does great job on reflecting sunlight (don't need to close the curtain to watch anymore). Sound quality is good too, but could be better at voice quality, personally.
