This is the perfect backpack,BUT it has one major flaw, the zipper does not stayed zipped up, it will open on its own! iPad easily falls out without you knowing!!

I bought this backpack and just love it. I can put a laptop & kindle or ipad and accessories and a few more items. I used it as a carry on. It was so convenient with all the pockets and zippers and has a built in sun-eyeglass holder.

Swissgear backpacks are great for carrying laptops. Well put together but would be better if it had a hidden pocket on the back side for things like wallets, keys, and concealed weapons for defense.

Bought this for my son to use for school. It's very well made, nice strap padding, and very roomy. I can fit all his school stuff in there with plenty of room left. It's has alot separate compartment within the backpack to put sunglasses, laptop, tablet, camera, cords, and etcs. He'll be able use the backpack for a long time.

I have two, the gray, and the black, which were slightly different. Have traveled for business and pleasure, on top of using them for daily commute w/ large drinks, laptop, tablet, accessories, sometimes tools. 1) huge storage flexibility. Enough places that are function specific for organization, but lots of flexible room. 2) durability, great material choices. They've held up for far more than you would guess. I'm hauling it daily just about wherever I go. awesome handle with metal-cable inside for strength. 3) comfort - padded shoulders, appropriate cross link if desired to distribute weight, Lastly - not sure what the two reviews mentioning zipper issues could be. I've never felt the need to put my zippers to one edge/side...mine ride together right at the top. Unless they've changed suppliers, then that seems to be an unusual experience.

Bag seems to hold up great. However, if your student goes through a metal detector to enter school, it will go off every time. The loop handle has a metal cable that is detected by the metal dector and will result in your student being bag searched upon every entry to the building.

Our construction firm has used these backpacks for our staff (office and field) for several years and they hold up WONDERFULLY. I manage this process for our company, and these things can take an absolute beating and still be secure, not have zippers/seams break, or have any kind of holes in them. We go through about 30-50 of them per year, and the only times I've had someone come to me and ask for a replacement is after at least 5+ years of rugged work. These guys have them holding multiple large tech devices, office supplies, and various heavy gear in a dirty environment. They stuff them to the gills! All things considered, this is a solid backpack if you're using it for basic everyday stuff or travel - it'll probably last forever. If you're a construction superintendent, it'll probably last you 5 or so years. Great value for the price! Our guys absolutely love them.

This bag is a great quality. Glad to know it’s still being sold. Bought two for my boys awhile back probably 2018. They’re able to carry their laptop, textbooks, notebooks etc in this one bag. It’s about time to replace the bag since it’s run down. It’s worth it!

I've been using more expensive Swissgear backbacks for the past 7 years. They all had issues with the zippers, so like others recommended, just put the zippers to one side and no more problem. Not only is this model less expensive than the others, I like the design and pockets better. Eyeglass holder, and higher pockets for laptop accessories help keep everything from settling to bottom. This one is also slimer in the front, without a lower pocket that sticks out. I fly every other week, and this one is much easier to fit under seat in front of you.

Good quality, but the tablet compartment is not sized for a regular iPad. It might fit the mini, but doesn’t work for my needs. The laptop compartment could have more padding. I love all the options for packing items. Wish it would have worked with my devices.
