Parents of college bound kids...these backpacks are excellent for heavy loads of books & have a well padded laptop pocket. Both of our kids used them 4 years of high school & one as far back as 8th grade, as well. The only reason we replaced them was that a zipper broke on a smaller pocket & one strap broke on the other. Both after carrying for more than 5 years. Both have graduated college & still use them all of the time for work, travel & carrying laptops to local coffee shops. They're also affordable!!

Lighweight, holds multiple devices, straps will stay on your shoulders for the first year. After a year of wear, the straps slip down to your elbows at the worse time. Also, do not leave the zippers at the top of the bag. Zip them over the top well down the side. If you leave them zipped at the top, the back will pop open and your electronics will be bouncing on the pavement and I had a bunch of cash which was I also had to chase through the airport road.

I am writing this on my new laptop that just got dumped on the concrete driveway. If there is ANY breach in the zipper on the "TSA" compartment, the weight of your items will meet no resistance at all as they unzip the entire thing and fall right on the ground. I knew about this and tried to keep the zippers together, but couldn't see in the dark and so this is what I get for buying this bag. The bag has some other attributes that aren't bad, but it's also very unbalanced and constantly falls over. I completely regret purchasing it, and will be taking it back to Sam's Club.

Zippers are so good they open themselves. That's really annoying. They also clang a lot while walking with it on my back. With Christmas coming I expect to look behind me one of these days to find reindeer or elves following me. Bought some zipper clips from the jungle site and wrapped the tabs in electrical tape. Otherwise seems pretty good...

This bag is poor quality. Purchased 2 of them and both items the water bottle pockey ripped right tgrough. Swiss Gear claims to have a warranty but after filling out the online warranty claim it takes weeks or more to get a response that says to cut out the tags, print & fill out another claim form and mail it to the company. Wont purchase swiss gear products again.

Like all of the other one-star reviews, it was the zippers for me. They literally NEVER stay zipper if my laptop is in the bag. The second I pick it up they unzip and not just a little bit either, full unzip. Almost flung a MacBook Pro across the room when I picked up the bag and it completely unzipped.

I love this bag because it has so many different compartments and great padding to protect my laptop. It also fits over luggage handles which is very convenient. The zippers on this bag are terrible though. They are very slippery and do not stay closed. It's awful when I am traveling because the zippers will slide open and by the time I notice I have no idea if something has slipped out of my bag. I cannot even get clips or anything to hold them together because there aren't any holes in the pulls to put them through. I thought maybe my bag was a lemon but checked others at my local Sam's and they were all the same. It's a great bag otherwise.
