The dresser is amazing. I put it together myself. Very high quality, HOWEVER, I thought it was being delivered assembled. I didn't know anything about Angie. They had emailed me an appointment without even calling to see if I was available. The person called me on the appointment date and said he'd be here shortly. He never showed up and again, just happened to look at my emails and one said they had cancelled me and the other had made an appointment for that same day hours earlier. I have been going back and forth between Walmart and Angie trying to get my $246 assembly fee for the three items I ordered from Walmart. Love the product, but I would never deal with Angie and I will never order furniture from Walmart again. Now I have to send back the 2 chests I ordered because I'm not up to assembling them. Also, it says right on the box “2 person lift heavy item” and fedex left it downstairs (3 boxes) I had to “walk” the boxes to the elevator and walk them to my apartment. So between fedex and Angie, this was a HORRIBLE experience.

I purchased two dressers from Walmart for $109 each and selected the assembly service offered at checkout. I paid $82, believing that this was the total cost to assemble both dressers. Nowhere in the checkout process was it clearly explained that the $82 fee was for only ONE dresser. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would never knowingly pay $82 to assemble a single dresser that costs only $109. The assembly fee is almost the price of the actual furniture! My biggest issue is the lack of transparency. If the price is per item, that needs to be clearly stated before customers pay, not explained after they have already purchased the service and waited a week for someone to show up.

These guys are a scam. You book a service from them and they will rescheldule. You cancel the service 24hrs in advance as stated in policy, they will not refund your money, but policy say it will. There is a language barrier. You call these people they'll tell you to contact walmart customer service, and now your talking to walmart customer service and they are telling you to talk to Angie's customer service. Just the runaround. Do not use they service.

Not only did they not come during the time slot they promised they didn't even come til the next day, mind you this was a $50 service. I lost 2 days of work! Then, instead of reading the directions to text me, they just dropped the box off in the middle of my driveway. I'm a 52 yr old woman, it's well over 100lbs of wood I cannot lift by myself. It's going to get rained on or stolen as I don't have any help here. Beyond that I paid $80 to have it assembled, only to find out that they use some other company entirely! I have to wait two more days for them to come, that's a 3rd day out of work, all for one bureau. On top of it all it's possibly damaged bc the box has a bunch of punctures all over it. I'm furious. Never again. I won't even shop at Walmart after this. They know exactly what they're doing and don't care about their customers. If I didn't need it so bad I'd have them take the thing back. Awful awful experience and it costed me 3 days off of work.

Do not pay to have your furniture assembled. They use Angi and they have no showed on me twice and cannot confirm they will actually make it this Saturday. Please look up Angi on the BBB before you add assembly. I am not the only person this company ripped off. They also give you a 3 hour window and don't have the consideration to tell you they aren't coming. They blame the people they hired. Wait time to talk to a live agent at Angi is over 30 minutes, I could not understand the customer service representative. To date they have not assembled the dresser I purchased and paid for assembly. Very disappointed!

HORRIBLE!! They only give themselves one hour to assemble everything, and if they're not finished within that time, they leave the job incomplete. Very disappointing service and not what I expected.

Hello, I'm reaching out regarding another purchase I've made from Walmart. On June 23rd I purchased the Truman dresser from Walmart as well as an $80 installation service. I am honestly in shock at how terrible my experience has been. First my package was intended to arrive on Friday, but it was delayed 3 days so it arrived on Monday around 3pm. When the third party service angi “professional” arrived on Monday 7am to build my dresser I did not have he marked the job as complete when it was not. I was not aware of this third party service angi and honestly they're making this even worse. I was able to reschedule for next Friday at 8am, nobody showed up so I decided to check my email only to see an email one hour before my scheduled appointment that there has been a last minute reschedule. I was dissatisfied already but to make matters worse they had took it upon themselves to reschedule an appointment for Monday 4pm and of course for the second time nobody showed up! But this time I receive no warning not even an email. This whole situation has been beyond frustrating and I'm regretting this purchase as a whole.

Angi is definitely a scam and robs their users. $97 for the assembly service and my builder only made $46 meaning Angi and Walmart kept the rest of the workers money. Multiple billion dollar companies by the way.

This service was recommended given the dresser I selected but the dresser arrived fully assembled in one piece. Why would Walmart recommend this if it's not warranted? Once it arrived I had to cancel the service and ask for a refund since it was applicable anymore

changed my appointment twice and when i called they gave an explanation I but I have funernal that day,coming and get busy next several weeks so I can't really really say when it would be good for my rescheduling for me and to just that money go almost a 100.00 I cannot afford it
