I wish we had purchased these units years ago. Don't waste your money on the boxes you place on the ground. This unit works flawlessly and keeps the hose neatly tucked away. Reading the other reviews, it comforted me seeing the manufacturer chimes in on negative reviews with the customer service line and reminding the customer you have 10 yr warranty on the product. If I have a problem, at least I know the manufacturer cares and will help me. It is mechanical and anything can happen. Easy to install and gives your hose placement a "high end" look. Don't get beat to death by the box on the ground or the rolling reel, this 65' hose is great!

My wife was unable to manually operate the manual hand crank on our existing hose reel because of pain in her shoulders. She absolutely loves the ease of use, especially the auto return. Personally, I wish it came in other colors. I would purchase another for the front of the house without reservations. Other auto return reels are twice the cost with less versatility.

I love this hose! It is lightweight, doesn't kink up and I am able to move from backyard to front yard with ease. The reel goes from side to side which allows the hose to be pulled wherever I go. Once I am done I just give the hose a little pull and it pulls it back into reel until next time.

Already have two of these and bought another because they are excellent.

Bought this a couple weeks ago, installs fast, and is great... pull it out, then give it a tug, and it rewinds itself.

I purchased this several year's ago, then this year it would not retract. When I called the company the customer service folks asked me a few questions and wanted pictures. The items were summited, I waited a couple of weeks then emailed back they responded to say it takes time. I emailed and called two more times and they were very helpful. I am an impatient person but in two months I received my new replacement. The warranty was honored and all you need to do is follow their instructions.

I have purchase two of the Stanley hose reels from Sam's Club. The first one last year and it works great. Have been happy with it so I purchased a second one this year and have had problems from the start. Now it leaks brown stuff over the patio and it will not retract. I contacted Bond manufacturing, sent in photo's and all the required information weeks ago and still have not had one response from the manufacturer. A 10 year warranty is only good if the company stands behind it. I am still waiting to hear from them and I don't have a workable hose. Debbie CID 155655

I purchased this last summer, stored it in my garage over the winter, and now it won't retract. It make a loud "sprung" noise and is now broken. I followed all instructions.....manufacturer will not respond to warranty inquiries. Piece of JUNK!

The concept of item is good, however the durability is very poor - the item only lasted a few weeks before it broke and would not rewind.
