Our old microwave stopped working, so we were in need of a new one fast. Only requirements it needed to have was 1) must be installed over the range, and 2) greater than 1000 watts. This microwave covered both, the price was reasonable, and it was available for immediate pickup. We been using this oven for a little more than a month and are happy with it, for the most part. The features (popcorn, reheat, melt, etc) work better than our old unit, and it runs much quieter. Also, the door opens quietly and I don't feel like I am slamming it when closing. The only drawback to this model is it is difficult for my wife to see inside when cooking. She and my daughter are 4 ft 11 inches tall. With the door closed, although the button panel is easily reachable, it covers the bottom portion of the door, making it hard for them to see inside the microwave while cooking. They have to use a step stool. This is not a major concern, but information some people may want to consider. We plan to buy a new microwave and move it to a more reasonable location for the height impaired once we remodel the kitchen. So they will make due until then

Great microwave! Cooks evenly. I like the way you can scan the barcode to cook meals through the LG ThinQ app. You can even tell Alexa to turn things on, on the microwave (light, fan, etc...) ,,,,, The wattage is strong, so it cooks fast less time. Easy to clean. I like the fact there is no handle on the door, a much cleaner look. The dark stainless steel cleans a lot easier than the regular stainless steel. I switch my kitchen to all dark stainless steel.

I really like our new microwave. It has a very clean look. The musical chime for when it's done is a nice change. The only thing I dislike is that you can not see through the window well...to know if something is going to bubble over- but that is rare.

I've had several brands of microwaves but I have to say this seems to be the best. I've had it installed now over a month and am amazed how many different settings there are that can be programmed in to soften, reheat, cook, etc. Love that I can just push buttons or scan a bar code to get things just right.

I bought this microwave when i bought my fridge and stove, 3-4 weeks ago. It heats up almost like turbo powered - 30 seconds to a minute is enough to have food thoroughly heated and piping hot. It sings when it’s finished and it looks fantastic in my kitchen. It’s got wifi use as well but i have not used that yet.

Just finished installing my second set of LG appliances (different house), as I generally like them. However, I ignored the comments that the microwave controls are hard to see because they aren't lighted. How bad could it be? It IS bad. I can hardly read the buttons even with all of my kitchen lights on.

We have had this microwave for a little more than a month and don't use it a lot, but really like all the features. It has been great for heating leftovers and melting butter using the specialty settings. Looking forward to using some of the other features it has.
