Large Microwave

The microwave seems to have ample options. It could use a back lit menu. There is nothing smudge resistant about the unit. The fan is loud and has four settings.

It works!

I have had this microwave for about a month. It works fine and seems very powerful, but there are a few things I don't love about it...first off it's very difficult to see the control panel unless all my kitchen lights are on - I have a darker kitchen - the option for backlight would be nice. Another issue is the door is very wide and I've hit my head a few times opening it. I do love the sleek look, but would probably opt for a handled door the next time.

Not worth it

DO NOT purchase this item. LG only gives you a year warranty and I have had mine for 2 1/2 years (6/30/23) and it no longer works. The inside light bulb went out within 2 months and it is a pain to replace. Not a huge deal. But the sensor cooking started to go about 6 months ago, giving me a F4 error code. Then the microwave just stopped cooking before the timer was up. We have done all the trouble shooting with no luck but to either pay for repair or purchase a new unit (NOT LG). It is also supposed to be fingerprint proof... it is NOT!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!

new microwave came today  April 10TH they removed my old WORKING MICROWAVE new microwave was defective they left with both ovens cannot tell me when new oven will be replaced I am left with no working microwave oven I am 79 years old and I need  microwave everyday to cook If I could give less than one star I would WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!

Broken product delivered, not intalled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my new microwave and it showed up with a broken power cord/plug. The installers took one look at it, said it was unsafe, and refused to install it – which I completely understand. I paid for a new appliance and installation, but instead I’m left with a useless microwave sitting in my kitchen and have to wait for a replacement or repair. This should have been checked before it left the warehouse. Very poor quality control and a huge inconvenience. I expected much better.

LG Normally good but their Microwaves are Garbage

I'm not going to waste a lot of time on this review other than to say neither Sams Club nor LG make it easy to get an adjustment or refund. This 2.0 LG over the range microwave has a defect--a plastic fan over the magnetron that melts. When that happens--twice in my case--the power goes off and if it ever returns the microwave doesn't heat. I spent several hours over two weeks on the phone to get a refund that Sams Club said I wasn't eligible for because I was a few days over the 90 day warranty. But I ordered it online and the warranty shouldn't have started until a week later when it was installed. Sams Club and LG dropped the ball several times before I received resolution. Never again will I buy an appliance from LG or Sams Club.

Not bad except for touchpad

We did not know that the touch pad does not light up at all. Except for the clock. It's very hard to see in the evenings and early mornings without having to turn on the overhead kitchen light. If it had the backlit display for the touchpad, this would have been a five-star review.
