Bought this pair of sit on top kayaks for our annual family gathering at the lake. easy to get into the water, comfortable moulded seat and adjustable back. Always better to have a buddy along side than to go alone. great idea to sell as a pair . Expect years of use!

Pretty meh. Honestly these kayaks are pretty meh in terms of durability. Seat snaps broke almost instantly and they are incapable of going 40 feet beyond the shore. Almost everything on them is cheap plastic but they float so I guess pretty mid. Nothing to write home about

We purchased 2 of these kayaked about 6 weeks ago. These have been perfect forour 4 grands ages 6-13 as well as adults. The grands can easily fit 2 in each one and have a blast! We adultscan do a leisurely paddle on the lake and they stay very stable even when we encounter the wave action from boats. We highly recommend them for all ages.

Just from unwrapping and readying to use (water is still too cold). Good size. I have 10' ones and they are hard to fit in the bed of my truck, harder in general to move about on land. These 8' are perfectly adequate in size. I love the hard seat back it was perfect with a towel over it for sweat wipe offs. The absolute best was picking them up to store and/or move about on land! Grabbing the hand hole in the middle it fit perfectly under my arm and because they are not 10' long so much easier to walk with. Of course they are lighter but they are sturdy. Great buy!

Returned because the kayak in the photos is not the same as was received. The one I picked up did not have a handle on the side, the seat was a hard molded seat with a flimsy metal hinge attaching it to the kayak, and the molding was/shape was different. The paperwork was all correct, it had a "lotus" sticker on it. Disappointed.

Absolutely love my purchase-so mad I didn't purchase these a long time ago. Only issue is the child seat isn't really a "seat", maybe should just be referred to as "extra space". Also had an issue with one of the adjustable clips for the seat either fell off or was never there but all minor issues. Still extremely please with purchase and would highly recommend.

I received this kayak three years ago as a gift and I have had so much fun with it! It is incredibly stable (my grandchildren climb off and on it with me and it barely rocks), tracks nicely on our lake and has all the features I wanted for flat water. The customer service from Lifetime has been exemplary. I have only had two issues in three years - the front handle broke and the drain plug tether broke resulting in the loss of the drain plug. Both times it was easy to contact Lifetime and they quickly sent me replacements and their agents were very pleasant. I also purchased Lifetime children's kayaks for my grandchildren from which they have received many hours of entertainment.

I have both a good sit in and good sit on. Grandchildren coming so needed one more so everyone could have their own. The reviews on line for this one were sort of all over the place. But overall it seemed folks would buy it again. I was able to have it sent directly to my local Walmart and it arrived before the promised date. No damage or problems at all (which some reviews spoke to having). I was actually able to get it in my Murano although the front touched the dash. But as single woman, love to be able to get it myself. Got it in the water, and it is sweet. I used one of my good paddles as think paddle not the best, but probably ok. Had a little trouble, out on the water, getting the seat to sit up more, but I accomplished. Took it for a spin and because it is flat and light, it went right over some rather shallow places. i was happy with that. Overall, love it and will probably use it myself over the much more expensive, and heavy to get down to lake ones.

I bought 2 of the lotus 8 ft sit on top kayaks two years ago. After much use the seats have broken. This company response was very prompt and they are sending replacement seats. Very happy with the service and will definitely buy their products in the future!

I bought this kayak because I am 5'2" and wanted something small enough that i could load on top of my car roof rack by myself (I'm a 66 y.o. woman). I read all the reviews and have found them to be right on. It tracks well for a relatively short kayak and is very stable. It is for flat water , which is all I wanted and I have no complaints. Lots of you tube videos show different ways to load a kayak. I found the best one for me and I'm happy with my purchase.
