I received this kayak three years ago as a gift and I have had so much fun with it! It is incredibly stable (my grandchildren climb off and on it with me and it barely rocks), tracks nicely on our lake and has all the features I wanted for flat water. The customer service from Lifetime has been exemplary. I have only had two issues in three years - the front handle broke and the drain plug tether broke resulting in the loss of the drain plug. Both times it was easy to contact Lifetime and they quickly sent me replacements and their agents were very pleasant. I also purchased Lifetime children's kayaks for my grandchildren from which they have received many hours of entertainment.

I love the fact that I can carry it and load it into the back of my Explorer by myself. Do wish there was some sort of hand grip for carrying, I'm working on that before next trip. I noticed I had to paddle a little more than those in the sit-in style Kayak, but guess that's expected with the flatter bottom. We did a 5 hour Buffalo River float, the back rest (which can be adjusted) and seating was quiet comfortable. Can't wait to take it out again.

My Kayak arrived in a loose plastic wrap that was torn open and very loose making it difficult to handle and move about. Also one of the plastic loops that holds the bungee cord to store item while in use was broken during shipment. I will contact customer service and see if they can ship a replacement.

We bought 6 of your kayaks (4 smaller and 2 larger) almost 10 years ago for our children and grandchildren to use on our pond. They have been used and sometimes abused, but still look new and shinny! Without a doubt your customer support is top notch.... when one of the grandkids unscrewed the plugs... one quick phone call and you had replacement plugs in the mail to us! I have both a good sit in and good sit on. Grandchildren coming so needed one more so everyone could have their own. The reviews on line for this one were sort of all over the place. But overall it seemed folks would buy it again. I was able to have it sent directly to my local Walmart and it arrived before the promised date. No damage or problems at all (which some reviews spoke to having). I was actually able to get it in my Murano although the front touched the dash. But as single woman, love to be able to get it myself. Got it in the water, and it is sweet. I used one of my good paddles as think paddle not the best, but probably ok. Had a little trouble, out on the water, getting the seat to sit up more, but I accomplished. Took it for a spin and because it is flat and light, it went right over some rather shallow places. i was happy with that. Overall, love it and will probably use it myself over the much more expensive, and heavy to get down to lake ones.

Most of the other reviewers were right on target with their reviews of this yak. I have other kayaks and was looking for an inexpensive one to get less experienced members of my family out on the water. The kayak is much more stable than my sit-in yaks. When you first take to the water if you try to lean right and left you will easily feel that there is very little chance of it tipping. My wife went out in a 15-20 mph wind and although the wind made her drift it didn't make her nervous as to possibly tipping. It would certainly be better if it came with a handle in the back as it has in the front. It came with an adjustable backrest which is very comfortable and lightweight break-down paddle. It also comes with one foam plug. However, there are five holes through the hull and unless you want to sit in a puddle of water you'll need to buy plugs for the other four holes. I made plugs out of wine corks and this worked fine. Overall a nice beginner kayak that you are not going to win any speed races in, but, if you're just looking to get someone in the family out in fairly calm waters, then you can't beat it.

We purchased 2 of these kayaked about 6 weeks ago. These have been perfect forour 4 grands ages 6-13 as well as adults. The grands can easily fit 2 in each one and have a blast! We adultscan do a leisurely paddle on the lake and they stay very stable even when we encounter the wave action from boats. We highly recommend them for all ages.

Had been thinking about getting a kayak for some time; started researching them. I’m 63, and wanted something I could carry by myself, yet be stable in the water, and handle well. I am so glad I found these! They fit my needs in every way! Delivery was fast. Water was super cold when I first tried it, so was a little scared, but was able to get on it from the dock easily. I even put my dog on it with me for, for 1 1/2 hour ride! My friend’s 2 girls, 11 and 13, were able to handle them as well! I may have to get more as I can see people wanting to use these. Don’t hesitate to buy these, start the fun right away!!!

The 2 pack kayaks that I ordered were of good quality and value and they are not the problem. When we were notified of the delivery date and time frame, that was great also! We had them delivered to our lake house and had to arrange to be there during the designated time frame. However, when the delivery was made, only one of the two-pack kayaks were delivered and the driver did not know anything about the other one. So after numerous phone calls, arrangements were made to deliver the other one the next day, which was a huge convenience to us!
