Yummy smoothies

Good tasting peaches. Have to wait a day or two, otherwise too hard to my liking. Had one bad peach -- sure didn't look bad but when I cut it open was brown inside. Other than that one peach, all the others were delicious. I made several delicious and refreshing smoothies with these peaches.

Great peaches

I love peaches from Sam’s club. It is worth noting that the title says yellow peaches and there are different varieties of yellow peaches available every 2 weeks from May through September. So if you get a bad batch, you can try again in a week or two and the flavors will be different. Typically the peaches available at the beginning of the season aren’t the sweetest. The more flavorful peaches come in June. End of the season peaches tend to be more mealy in my experience but not always! If you walk into the store and purchase in person, look at the flavors descriptions on the bag or box. I think I only had 1 or 2 bag of peaches that were just mediocre. The rest of the peaches for summer 2024 were great! (Also worth noting the peach farms are all within 30 minutes of Sam’s club since I live in Californias Central Valley. Our peaches are fresh off the trees.)

fresh peaches

I have purchased peaches at Sam's before and they have always been delicious. But this time I do not know where the peaches came from or what happened to them. I used the pick up service. Those people are suppose to pick out the best available when gathering up our groceries.

Unsatisfactory Fruit

More than half of them were rotten in the area surrounding the pit. I ended up throwing all but 4 away because I didn’t want to deal with returning bad fruit. I had bought them on two previous visits and they were excellent so I purchased two this time.

Pick out yourself

When I’ve personally bought these in-store, they were delicious. The best peaches I can remember having. However, last time I ordered them and picked them up in store and every single one was rotten... some were even molded. That is absolutely unacceptable. Two stars for having to throw out food that I paid for the same day.

Rotten Yellow Peaches in September

I learned that these peaches are fresh and delicious during summer, but they’re rotten in September. They look beautiful on the outside as they do during the Summer, but they are rotten on the inside in September. I returned them and got my money back. I don’t recommend buying them in September.

YUCK

Poor quality, hard as rocks when purchased, also a week later, tried eating them at different times. All were mealy, not juicy, were crunchy. Peaches are not supposed to be crunchy! Grossly brown inside. I tried to ripen them by my usual method. Poor use of money.

Unripe & Rubber chewy!

Raw, rubbery chewy & virtually juiceless. Even after 10 days, it never ripened and failed to attract fruit flies. The quality of natural tasting fruits has been compromised with the genetically modified variety. Sam’s Club has deviated from its mission 100% to serve their members with quality foods. And the prices are outrageously sky high! Shame on your Buyers! They’ve sold their soul in the name of profitability. 😡🥺🧐🤨

Lousy Peaches

I normally don't buy peaches at Sam's Club, but they smelled so good I decided to give them a try. They were still a bit hard, so I left them on the counter and turned them daily. They began to soften after a few days, and I tried one - it had no flavor at all! Waited a couple more days thinking they needed to continue ripening, and again although it smelled great, it had no flavor. The next day they began to mold! Cut off the moldy section and tried again - still no flavor! I ended up throwing them all away. Very dissappointing.

Good for Potpourri

Walking past the fruit, you could not miss the smell of peaches; had to buy a case with an aroma like so sweet. Biting into the fruit, we were so disappointed. The texture was like rubber and the taste was a lot more bland then the smell. Maybe it was the type of peach and I need to educate myself. This is one fruit that does not taste the way it smells.
