Done with BFG

Have had multiple KO2's and always loved them. Bought the KO3's, load E, for my 2020 Ram 2500 Cummins hoping for the same result. No issue balancing as in other reviews but after 34k miles they are undrivable. The chop is so bad that you can't hear someone talk right next to you. Rotated multiple times, different ways and the chop will not come out, only gets worse. Own 2 more sets of these on 2500's with the same issue along with a roughly 3mpg loss when these were put on. BF was always the go to but not anymore, new tires go on next week and they won't be BF's.

Wore quick

I had these tires on my 3500 and 1500 and loved them. Put them on my 2500 and after 38000 miles they needed to be replaced. Little bit of rain they felt like i was driving on ice. I didnt get my moneys worth and I am not happy about it. BF let me down. I will be looking elsewhere for tires.

Great Tires!

I purchased these to replace the factory Duratrac tires on my 2020 Colorado ZR2 and kept the factory tire size (265/65R17). Soon after my purchase I took a 1,000+ mile road trip. At 80+ mph, the ride was very smooth. I did not experience any balancing issues that have been noted on some of the other reviews. These tires are a bit nosier than the Duratracs. Overall, I am very pleased with these tires! I have had BF Goodrich all terrain tires on previously owned 4X4's and they have always performed very well. I look forward to many adventures with these tires!!

Maybe Watch Out

When I first got them, they rode like rocks for the first 500 miles. For the last 5000 miles, and I put around 20k on them so far. I can now 1) hold an annulment and 2) can't keep them ball-ended. For the last 500 miles after my last serve, where I got everything taken care of, my mechanic told me my tires are chapping a lot already. I work with the Duke Line Crews, and I drive a ton, and I know I put a lot of miles on my tires, but for the money, I expect more from them.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires. We’re sorry to hear they’ve been riding rough and showing signs of wear so early. KO3s are built with a tighter bead for off-road durability, which can sometimes affect ride comfort and balance if not installed precisely. Please have your dealer call us so we can discuss possible troubleshooting options to see if we can fix this issue with the help of your shop. Our number is 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

Good offroad performance

Did fantastic in the clay slop. California valley clay is no joke, but even without airing down in my 2500 I was able to push through deep clay just barely touching the diff, they definitely self clean very well, caked everything up on the truck. But they kept pushing me forward.

Sidewall Too Tender

Traction is awesome with these tires. I run 10 pounds of air in them with dry conditions climbing granite, decomposed granite, rocks and in the sand. I've recently been in the snow too. The tire holds onto snow as advertised. The sidewalls are falling apart and I'm so disappointed. The outer (black) layer is peeling off and exposing the white underneath. They looked awesome until I really used them. Once i took them offroad they started crumbling. I'm waiting for them to stop holding air soon because they were too tender on the sidewall. KO2s never had this problem.

Outstanding All-Terrain Performance

These KO3s exceeded my expectations from day one. The traction and handling are outstanding on both pavement and dirt, with zero road noise for an aggressive tire. They ride smooth at highway speeds and grip confidently in wet or loose terrain. The durability feels solid, and they look great on the truck—perfect balance of performance and appearance. After several trips hauling and off-roading, they’ve proven to be reliable and worth every penny.

Looking for that vintage jeep ride for your late model? Get a set of KO3s.

Good wet traction, great cornering, somewhat noisy, terrible ride. Worst set of tires I have ever purchased. Been balanced twice lots of weights, and still feel like a bad tire. I wish I had seen a true review prior to buying these. If you enjoy a good ride buy something else!

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry you are experiencing this issue. BFGoodrich off-road tires are engineered with tighter beads to help prevent unseating when aired down for off-roading. This design makes proper seating during installation essential. In some cases, a tire may look correctly mounted but isn’t evenly seated against the wheel rim, which can cause balancing or performance issues. Please consult with your dealer to ensure that the proper lubricant is applied to both the rim flange and the tire bead during the mounting process. If you would like to discuss further, feel free to give our Consumer Care team a call. Our number is 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).

amazing tires

I had the KO2s on my 2020 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss and absolutely loved them, so my expectations were already high. I recently put the new KO3s on my GMC Sierra AT4, and honestly, they impressed me even more than the KO2s. BFGoodrich really stepped it up with these. The KO3s have amazing traction in every condition — rain, snow, dirt, and even just everyday highway driving. The steering feels tighter and more controlled, and the ride is smoother than I expected for an all-terrain tire. They also look great on the truck, with a more aggressive tread that still stays quiet on the road. I was already loyal to the KO2s, but after running the KO3s, I can say they’re a serious upgrade. If you’re thinking about all-terrain tires, these are worth every penny. Highly recommend them for anyone who wants performance, durability, and a great look all in one.

Great except for very frustrating balancing issues

The tires would be everything they are supposed to be if you can get them balanced. Have been to dealer twice for balancing and stress testing. The vibrations between 40mph and 70 are horrible. The tests they ran showed 3 tires in the high 40's and one was a 3??? Doesn't say much for the BFG quality control. Very disappointing. With many similar reviews you would thing they would be acting to help, buy back replace or something.

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. BFGoodrich designs its off-road tires with tighter beads to prevent unseating. This is critical especially when tires are aired down for off-roading. Because of this feature, problems might arise if the tires aren’t seated properly. The tires may look installed correctly but the tires sometimes won’t be seated uniform against the wheel edge. Please consult with the dealer to ensure that the proper lubricant is applied to both the rim flange and the tire bead during the mounting process. Our Consumer Care team is available to discuss further at 866-866-6605 (Mon–Fri 8 AM–7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM–1 PM EST).
