phenomenal longevity

2nd set of these tires - have the KO2 on the 2023 4Runner and they are on 45+k miles with easily 40% tread remaining. the K03 that i have on the F350 have been great - already taken them on "Primitive" roads and they have been great. noise, handling and traction are phenomenal, especially for a mixed use tire.

    Should've kept my K02's.....

As a happy, loyal K02 customer for 10+ years, I am absolutely sick that I "upgraded" to the new K03's this past December. To begin with, the traction is nothing compared to the K02's. Even when my past sets of K02's were on their last leg, the traction was preeminent compared to the K03's brand new! I was (and am still) shocked by the awful squeal that they let out simply going around corners and accelerating from a stoplight in the slightest drizzle of ran in the middle of town where speed limits max at 40mph. As a Minnesota resident, I buy BFG K's for their reliability during the coldest months of the year and their ability to get through the snow and ice with absolute certainty. Sadly these K03's can't even manage to get traction after t...

    Horrible wear and treadlife

Great traction, unfortunately I only got 26,000 miles out of the tires. I'm meticulous with my tires I rotate them every 5000 miles they are chalk tested And properly aired . I will never purchase another BFG brand tire again Oh yeah Can I give you a tour go ahead Can you put a date in here real quick Hang on put these dates in real quick for my tires OK

    Endless vibrations

Like several other customers, I'm having trouble getting these tires balanced. After 3 regular balancing and 1 road-force attempt, the vibration at 65-70 mph just won't go away. Luckily, they are still under warranty. The tires don't even have 500 miles.

    They Won't Balance

Similar to many others here, I just bought a set of 295 / 65 R20 and they will not balance. Bad vibration starts around 40 MPH and gets worse as speed increases. About to replace them with a new set and see if we have the same issue. I have never had an issue with the KO and KO2 tires, but these KO3s seem to be notorious for this.

    Great overall

I've been extremely happy with the BFGoodrich KO3 tires. I currently have just over 83,000 miles on this set and expect to get around 85k before replacing them. Most of my driving has been highway miles, and the tread has worn very evenly throughout the life of the tires thanks to regular rotations at every oil change. Performance has been excellent in all conditions. They've handled off-road trails, sand, and snow with confidence while still providing a comfortable and predictable ride on the highway. The combination of long tread life, even wear, and all-around capability has made these some of the best all-terrain tires I've owned. When it's time for a new set, I'll be buying another set of KO3s without hesitation.

    Garbage

I'm sitting here with two of my friends, we all have K03 tires and different trucks. They all shake the steering wheel at 75 mph despite multiple attempts to balance. We decided they are dogpoop tires. I wouldn't have these tires shoved up my worst enemies butt covered in beach sand. Do better... what a pile of crap these things are. Bruce Wylie

    Impossible to Balance

I cannot get these tires to balance at all. They have been road force balanced 3 times now and vibration still persists above 65 mph. They also make the classic whop whop whop noise at low to moderate speed that is typical of a tire that is out of round or balance. I've never seen a tire take 16 weights on the wheel and still vibrate. Will be attempting to exhange these for a set of Toyo or Nitto like I should have bought in the first place. These are a great looking tire but that's the only benefit.

    Massive vibration problems

These tires had massive vibration problems out of the box. The tire shop road force balanced them 3 times, and could never get under 30 even with a ton of weight. The tires vibrated so badly at 70mph that my truck was literally un-drivable. I felt like I was driving paint shaker. I ended up doing a warranty return only 500 miles in and exchanged for some Nitto Terra Grappler G3s, which are smooth as glass. I don't know if BFG is currently having manufacturing issues or what, but the issues I experienced seem to be alarmingly common amongst other customers in the last few months. I would stay far away from this tire until they figure it out. It's a shame, because I was once a loyal BFG customer from the KO2 days. Seems something went horri...

    Won't balance

Bought a set of KO3's for my F350 in January. Truck vibrated badly on the freeway. Took it back and had them road force test them. 2 of the 4 they could not get to a reasonable number. Ordered two replacements. Only one of those were passable. Went in yesterday to get the last replaced, now it's worse than ever. Entire truck shakes on the freeway. In summary, 3 of 7 tires have been passable and I'm still working on the last one. Big mistake buying these tires. Should have went with K02's.

Perfect In All But One Way!

So far, the KO3's have proven to be worth their premium price-tag. They ride very smooth, perform beautifully off-road, and are very quiet on the highway (a big selling point after some noisy AT tires from a competitor). My ONE complaint, and it is a big one, is that these tires are not available in anything lighter than an E-rating for 16" wheels (the factory wheel size on most Tacomas). I drive a '21 Tacoma that I primarily use as an "overlander," and while a tough AT tire is appreciated for the moderate off-roading I do with it, a heavy E-rated tire feels like overkill 99% of the time. The weight of these tires significantly impacts the truck's everyday performance. At nearly 50 lbs per tire, they sap the truck's power and tank its alrea...

    Stay far away

I had a set of KO2 tires and though the KO3's would be just as good...WRONG. They will not balance. I've had them road forced over 5 times. Anything over 65 causes bad vibration in the steering wheel and so bad that you can feel it through a padded leather seat. I have Nitto trail grapplers on my other truck and they are much better and even quieter. These also have terrible wet traction. Will be going with Nitto for all tires in the future.

    Wont balance

Mounted on 2021 gmc at4 hd. Tires have enough weight on their to fish for a lifetime. Had them balanced twice and one roadforce balance. Same issue. Vibrates in rear. steering wheel wobbles. So its more then one with a issue. Ruined a 100k truck that drove like a dream with the factory goodyears now has a massage feature throughout every seat. Terrible tires ad bfgodrich should reimburse the customers.

    KO2 was better

I really do not like these new all terrains offered by BFG. The ko3 tires are almost brand new and losing traction on dry pavement, something I've never experienced with the ko2 tires. I had two or three sets of ko2 on this truck prior to being phased to the ko3 and everything I loved about the tire and brand is gone. The stability and planted feeling on pavement is gone, it now feels like im riding on the center of the tires if that makes sense. Wet handling seems to be a bit slippier than ko2 version. The appearance is probably the biggest thing im upset about because I like the rugged look of the ko2 and BFG just did not capture it, the tires look rounded to me where as the BFG were good at looking flat and appealing with the tread patte...
